A great little chapter book good for about ages 6-8. (A good series for beginning readers who want to step into chapter books.)

Junie B. Jones is a girl who speaks her mind. Written as if narrated by a 5-year-old, the words and fears hit home with similar aged little ones.

Junie B. Jones' class is planning a field trip to the local farm, but Junie B. Jones is afraid of ponies. She is talked out of that fear and right into a new one--roosters! What will Junie do on field trip day? Will she fake sick? Hide on the bus? Befriend the farmer for protection? Or possibly all of the above.
