One word that keeps popping up my mind while I think of the words too describe this delicious book is DRAMA. Yes, there’s plenty of drama in this book to keep you entertained on a hot summer day, lying at the beach, drinking you’re mojito cocktail.
I don’t know how Jackie Collins comes up with these characters, there are so many of them and each one of them is very interesting. Because there are so many characters, you would probably think that somehow that would be confusing, but I can assure it’s not. Their lives are entwined with each other and it doesn’t feel at all like it’s too much.
The pages flew by me in no time and even though it’s a 500 pages book I read it in just two sittings. I couldn’t relate to any of the main characters in the book, but I think that’s because their lives are so glamorous and so Hollywood style. Denver Jones was the most fun character in the book and felt more real to me. She was the one who with a conscience.
There where a lot of celebrity names that got a place in the book. Justin Timberlake, Snoop Doggy Dog and even Heidi and Spencer where mentioned. They probably highlighted their names and put the page in a golden frame!
In the end there are little chapters how the story ends for each and every character in the book, so there where no questions after about what and how? I don’t know if Jackie Collins does this a lot in her books, but I believe this such a fun way to end the story.
If you want a light, fluffy read, THIS IS IT!
