The story of a boy living in a world with no women and a world where all of men's thoughts can be read by anyone did not hook me as much as I thought it would. I enjoyed the narrative, and I enjoyed the concept of the protagonist's world view getting completely shattered and the thoughts of betrayal and confusion he was forced to wrestle with. However, the book lacked some of the depth I was hoping for.
