really liked it

This is her third novel and it's just as good as the first two. If you like insanely suspenseful courtroom dramas, find her books. (I think I prefer her to Grisham, although I haven't read any of his lately.)

This one's about a doctor who's accused of murdering his wife and three kids (the youngest is a baby; the oldest is six, I think). His excuse? Not guilty by reason of insanity. He's schizophrenic, which hadn't been properly diagnosed before the crime so he wasn't on medicine. He had a psychotic break and he killed his wife and kids.

A young attorney is the second chair for the case, and that brings up a lot of issues for her with her own family.

Really, really good book. Recommended (as are her others).
