When I started reading this book I didn't know it was supposed to be a "romance" type book. I was going by the title & expecting a "detective" or suspense style. Well, there was actually very little detecting going on and a lot of loose threads that were never really explained. It made the whole book a little distracting. The worst part wasn't that it was a romance, but that it was a "typical" romance. You know the kind. The woman loves the man but she doesn't think he loves her so she pretends that it doesn't matter & that she doesn't care.
With a few changes & a little more background this could have been a really good book.
