This book has sat by my nightside table now for two years, lent to me by a friend who knew I loved Lullaby. Shameful it took me this long to read.

Feelings on this book are conflicted. I enjoyed the writing and the plot, however:

1) Some of the repetition got old and boring to me after a while
2) Parts felt like shock for the sake of shock
3) The end definitely makes my top 10 worst ever
4) I grew to hate all the characters with a passion

If it wasn't for the last 20 or so pages, I'd probably give this three or four stars. But the ending completely cheapens everything that comes before it. Negative 4 stars for the ending. Even with the one star final rating, I'm glad I read it, which is unusual for my thumbs down ratings.
