The Titan’s Curse is another slam dunk in this awesome children’s series. It’s not often I agree with or believe the hype, but yes, it’s true. You should go ahead and believe it too! Percy is really easy to like/who root for/a friend you want. He is a young man,not all that smart but brave enough to challenge the Gods? To quest to find out what the imprisoned Titans are planning.

Thalia, Zues’, daughter, joins the team. All strength is needed for a what the Oracle spoke [posted at the end of review:]. This quest carries a burden Book 1 and 2 did not. However, the characters work together to figure out complex traps and defeat ever more deadly monsters. Before the quest can begin the story reveals Annabeth as a central focus. Artemis and her maidens are introduced. A pair of half-bloods are brought to camp.

Throughout the journey there are always situations that question the completion of the quest. Instances that allow the characters to grow and elements that allow for a new path to be walked down. These books progressively out do the last. Building an enriching fantasy world layered right on top of our own world.

SPOILER ALERT: This is the prophecy given in the book. If that will spoil it for you..don’t read between the lines.************************************************************************
Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,
One shall be lost in the land without rain,
The bane of Olympus shows the trail,
Campers and Hunters combined prevail,
The Titan’s Curse must one withstand,
And one shall perish by a parent’s hand.
This is the prophecy given in the book. If that will spoil it for you..don’t read between the lines.
