Excellent book to become informed of all the risks of routine procedures done during labor. This is a must read even if you don't plan on having a natural birth. Our bodies are capable of giving birth without intervention and once you get "hooked up" most likely it's a snowball effect of further medical intervention and delayed pain (my first experience exactly). Why intervene unless medically necessary? This time around I'm not afraid of some possible natural pain and basically a hard workout.

Janey Love this book already. So wish I would've found it before my first birth experience! Now with 7 weeks left I hope I have time to prepare.
