it was amazing
bookshelves: keep-forever
Read from September 24 to 25, 2010 , read count: 2

The first time I read this book was when it first came out, and I was so excited to be reading a new King book that I just flew through it and barely remembered much in the way of details. So, I decided to read it again. It was much, much better than I recalled. This little story had depth, and was very well written. Blaze was a great character, the bits dealing with his past were great, I felt for the poor guy. He wasn't bad by any means, just used by George. I loved his interactions with the baby, they were (and I feel weird saying this about a SK novel) kind of sweet. The pages flew by the second half of the book, once the police came in and the action really started. I got pretty teary-eyed at the end, it was sad. A great little novel, and a quick read, this book has moved farther up my list of faves.
