My first impression of the book was "boring army non-fiction. I am not a big fan of non-fiction. But as I read more and more into the book I discovered it was actually pretty intresting. Most war stories written are memiors of the soilders who fought in them. This book talks about what war was like behind the scenes.
I have a couple questions though...
1. Was Dr. Dave on more than 1 tour?
2. What are IED's?
I'm curious to keep reading, but I am hoping it will et more exciting!

Buggy IED's= Improvised (home made) explosive devices

Paula He says in the book he was on 2 tours--one on the field and one in the hospital.

Ellie Revert I hope the writer will get the answers---and read it again. It is worth so much more than one star, but it needs to reach the reader. It sure did me!
