Read from July 10 to 19, 2011

interesting read..aside from the actual story of the HeLa cells, the author weaves a tale of race/class/medical care/ and medical ethics, long before equal rights and HIPPA. A good book club choice. Lots of room for discussion.
Only gave it 3 stars because I found the tales of her family, although pertinet to the overall story, not as fascinating as the actual medical history and treatment of Henrietta. (nurse)
