I was kind of daunted after reading the back of the book, but then I tackled the story anyway (also since it was a book of the month). It turned out not only to be interesting, but I also learned a whole lot of new things about the underground world of drag queens.

But it wasn't just the story line. The romance spiking between two cops was pretty interesting too! It touched upon reality, and didn't just seem like silly fiction; I actually felt these could be true events taking place in San Francisco at any time. And what more do you really want from a romantic fiction novel? I know I don't want for much more.
