An early reviewer of La Disparition slammed it but plain didn't notice the one-would-think conspicuous (and humorously signalled throughout) writing constraint underpinning the venture.

Wait, I suppose I should have tried to write this with a similar constraint.

OK, a man who thought to slam La Disparition didn't catch GP's obvious writing constraint, and this was a triumph for Oulipo and GP. Adair's translation's good, also casting again GP's additional prosodic classics such as "Hark! The Blackbird: Not Again!"

I can't r*comm*nd it but you simply must attack this bad boy.
