So I went onto my kindle to buy Prides Mates - to do a re-read, and to my surprise I saw that this one was already out! This is the second book in the Shifters Unbound series and it follows Sean Morrissey and Andrea Gray. We meet both of these characters in the first book, Sean being the brother of Liam and Andrea being the niece of Glory.

Sean mate-claimed Andrea to get her away from her old shifter-town pack, and is going crazy in the mate-frenzy. Andrea isn't sure if she wants to accept Sean's claim and she is also dealing with other issues. She is still trying to figure out what her abilities are as a half fey/ half shifter. They are also dealing with human violence, and a far more insidious plan that might unbalance the entire shifter world.

I really enjoyed this book, there was a lot going on which made the story interesting. My one complaint, which is why I didn't give a 5 star, the sex scenes were really not that fantastic. I'm not sure why I feel that way either. I felt like the first book was so hot and amazing, and this one seemed to pale in comparison. I liked Sean and Andrea together but I feel like the author held back a little. Other than that, I loved the action and the story was unpredictable enough to keep me guessing until the end. I'm also curious about the next book since it involves a different Shifter-town and characters we haven't seen yet.
