So good. So, so good. So, so, so good.
I hesitated to read this because I know I tend get to caught up in the politics and I didn't relish rooting for one against the other and thinking I can't wish one of the characters well because they are on the wrong side. Nevertheless, some people who had made good recommendations to me in the past spoke well of this book, so when it fell into my hands, I did take a chance and read it.
The author did a wonderful job with the voices of the characters as many have mentioned. The plot was interesting, both for the action and for the internal workings of the characters. While the characters did have to give some ground they did not have to compromise their core values.
I am so glad I read this book and will be looking for more from this author.
