really liked it

Sure it could be shorter. Some of the middle chapters can be skipped. But this book blew my mind. I was somewhat afraid to say I identified with it. The research in the initial chapters is shocking. And the clips from the women's magazines made for good reads. The last chapter is as good a personal essay as you'll find, with a bit of Rothian flare thrown in, plus a scene one could imagine Fellini and Woody Allen drumming up mid coitus. Everyone should read this book. Especially considering our sick on love age. All that lovely music: Townes, Cat Power, Will Oldham, don't do much for my love chakra. And while it's pretty, I'm unsure they're really helping me out. Dig?
