Another vampire book...Fortunately I was able to stand this one, for the most part. However, I think Westerfield should stick with Uglies and leave vampires to the million other authors who are writing about them. The book follows Cal, a newly infected vampire, in his search for the girl that infected him. The book talks a lot about being sexually active as that is how the disease is spread, so be prepared (nothing graphic, just plenty of horny vampires). I thought Cal was funny at times, stupid at others, and overall the general storyline was kind of stupid, but most people were jumping on the vampire bandwagon when this came out, so I guess I can't blame Westerfield too much.
