really liked it

Set in the same cyberpunk future as Neuromancer (20 years later), Count Zero continues that book's impeccable writing, precise & vivid imagery, well-paced & multi-threaded plotting and intriguing concepts and adds an extra layer missing from Neuromancer - character depth. I have nitpicks here and there (for instance, it's set-up as a cyber-jockey 'coming of age' journey for the title character, but he actually *does* very little, even in the climax), but overall it was excellent.
