I don't know why I read so many of this guy's books. He's not very good. He's often compared to Stephen King. For the sake of argument, this is my comparison: Stephen King ultra-light with a tenth of King's talent and even less creativity. Actually he's not like Stephen King at all, except for writing horror and publishing more books than I have hair. That being said, Intensity was actually halfway decent. Go figure.
