After many people have suggested James Patterson to me, I finally picked up a couple of his novels.

In When the Wind Blows, a rogue FBI agent continues to investigate a controversial group of scientists involved in human genetic experiments. He arrives shortly after a young girl has escaped the hidden compound and along with a distraught veterinarian, finds the girls. Things do no end there, as those involved with the experiments do not want to be uncovered and are willing to go to many ends to keep their secrets, including murder.

This was a pretty good story. It was well-written and flowed smoothly. The characters were rich and the concepts were quite original. Consider me a fan of James Patterson.
