The third book in the Chronicles of the King. Just like Gods and Kings, the first book in the series, this one has the characters jumping off the pages. There was more action and suspense in this book compared to #1 but I still liked them equally. You don't have to read these books in order but it helps if you do so that you know what experiences the characters have had in the past that may influence their actions in the later books.

Definitely recommend to patrons who like to learn about the events in the bible. I learned alot from reading #1 and #3 in this series.
