I really enjoyed reading this book - it was like taking a walk through the memory lane of my childhood, as it was tied to the events of the day. As certain songs remind me of moments in my life when i first heard them, so this book does the same with important political events of Bob Schieffer's career. He is also one of my favorite news correspondents and I am an avid watcher of "Face the Nation", so it was a perfect fit for me. An easy to read book on the work and life of a major network correspondent, with no beefs or scores to settle.
How refreshing.
