After the Funeral (Hercule Poirot #29)
by Agatha Christie
by Agatha Christie
Didn't like it. The premise looked good enough, although it started a bit boring. Everybody had a solid motive and no real alibi; till the very end I had no idea who the killer was and was looking forward to some brilliant reveal and connecting the clues. Unfortunately, Christie opted for an altogether different solution, which seemed too far-fetched for me.

Thank you! I felt exactly the same way about the preposterous ending. Someone should have recognized the murderer later on.
