He covers the major themes of our days and gives the economic solution. Sometimes left leaning but always based in economics.<br/><br/>The one chapter I disagree with is the trade-off between unemployment and inflation and the feds power in that (Ch 2). That chapter seems to be outdated and directly at odds with contemporary economics, especially after the findings of Milton Friedman. <br/><br/>With that said though, this is a must read for anybody interested in economics and how economic principles can be used to shape policy.  ]]></user_review>
