<user_review>
Yes, it's a 500 page book about sleep. You do spend one third of your life sleeping so it's worth finding out a little about it.

The elucidation of the benefits and costs of lack of sleep, and concepts like sleep debt, are really eye-opening.

That's the first half of the book. If it ended there, I would give it five stars. The second half of the book was all about various sleep disorders, which while fascinating at first, did drag on for a long time. </user_review>

 review:

Yes, it's a 500 page book about sleep. You do spend one third of your life sleeping so it's worth finding out a little about it.

The elucidation of the benefits and costs of lack of sleep, and concepts like sleep debt, are really eye-opening.

That's the first half of the book. If it ended there, I would give it five stars. The second half of the book was all about various sleep disorders, which while fascinating at first, did drag on for a long time.
