I still have conflicting feelings about this book, but I did really enjoy it. I think that the biggest thing that threw me was the pregnancy - I really wasn't expecting that! However, once I got over the shock, I was happy that Bella was able to have this final human experience (however un-human it was) and how it kept Jacob in the story.

I don't want to compare this book to the Twilight series because they are so extremely different, yet it's very hard not to. So the only things that I will say on this topic is that this story is not as intoxicating to me as Edward and Bella's story and if you're looking for some steamy love scenes (which some had predicted because this is not a YA book), you're not going to find it - Meyer has kept with her passionate kisses and not much else.

This was an interesting read for me because I predicted the story line and outcome after reading the summary however, it didn't matter or make the book less wonderful because it was such a beautiful, well-written story. I enjoyed reading Brashares' "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" but I have to say that this was a far better book - perhaps because it's a more adult and poetic story and I can relate more with some of the themes. I know this is a book I will eventually revisit.

Meyer did it again! It's been a long time since a series has affected me this way - I truly had a very hard time not thinking about Edward and Bella after finishing this book. It's going to be a very long wait until August when the final book of the series comes out. Of course I have me own opinions on how their story should end, but i'm excited to find out regardless.

I just can't get over how intoxicating this book was to me! Edward and Bella's relationship is quite fascinating and I just couldn't put the book down - it took me a total of five hours to read it.
