So this book sucked the first 3/4 and then the last 1/4 of the book it got interesting for me. It was still cheesy but I liked it and enjoyed reading about what would happen. I didn't really ever feel like I knew what the ending would be and there were a lot of shockers I thought. Although overall I thought that the book was just ok it made me more open minded to trying some other James Patterson books.

Another book that I didn't expect to enjoy but I did. The premise is a little strange and I'm not a very religous person so the whole idea of heaven I don't think about too much. The book really made me think about how connected we all really are and how life is too short not to really enjoy it. Read the book in 1 day so its worth a try. I recommend it.

This book dragged on for me. I wasn't into it at all and felt that the part that I really wanted to get to didn't happen until the last few chapters of the book. I hate when a book doesn't peak until then. A definite disappointment for me after so many recommended it. The concept of the book is powerful but just not enough for me.

So this book was more like 3.5 stars for me. I expected to be laughing out loud the whole book like I did in her first one but it just wasn't as funny. Yes there were some laughs here and there and I do like her humor but it just wasn't amazing. I was definitely disappointed and was hoping for more. If you want to read one of her books I would pick to read the first one.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. Far more than I expected to. After reading so many just ok books this one really stood out for me. I enjoy books that I feel like I can relate to and this one I could. The book is about family, relationships, and figuring out who you are and where you want to be with your life. I recommend reading this one.

Came across this book today at the library and I really must say that its a great book that I am really enjoying. It's a combination of interesting facts with some great tips and I love how its geared for people in NYC. Highly recommend reading this one if you live in an urban area and are interested in the environment.

Funny book written by a comedian/writer (so you know you are going to get some laughs). Book is about this young woman living in LA when her mom and sister are in a car accident and she has to drop everything to go back east. It's all about how crazy her family is and how to all relate to one another. Funny family issues, dating drama, etc. All things you probably can relate to. Great book and I am definitly going to read Why Girls Are Weird her other book.

Really sweet sorry looking back on the relationship that he had with his wife and what kind of person she was. The book really showed how much he and all those around her loved her and what a great person that she seemed to be. Another quick read and well worth it.

You can read this book in 15-20 minutes. Its about a mother an daughter and their conversations through refrigerator notes. A big point in the book is to stop and take time to enjoy your loved ones because life is short and you don't know how much time you may have together. I enjoyed it and if you have 20 minutes you should try this one.

So I chose to read this book for two reasons. 1. Because its a classic 2. Because I'm going to see the Broadway show this month. Well I feel terrible only giving it 3 stars (should really even be 2.5) because I know that so many people love it. I guess it just wasn't for me. I can see why people might love it and overall its a great story thats really deep. I just didn't enjoy it while I was reading it and just wanted to the book to be over. Sorry for those of you who really loved it :) Hopefully I'll enjoy the Broadway show a bit more.

I really enjoyed this book and think that it deserves a lot more credit than just chick lit. It's about a young woman in her 20's living in NYC who isn't sure about her current relationship and deciding where she wants it to go. She also works a the NY Television Museum and there were a lot of TV references (to older and new TV shows) and I would really recommend for those who love TV and also like chick lit. This book for me had a lot of substance and although a bit predictable. I still really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of her books.

Loved, loved, loved this book. Chelsea really does take things to the extreme and while I read the book I couldn't believe that it was a memoir. You could have read the book thinking it was fiction the things that she did were so outrageous. If you like Chelsea's humor than this is a book for you. Finished it in about a day because I loved it so much.

This book you can read in about 30 minutes. It's really short and cute with lots of comic drawings. I could relate to some of the things that Amy and her mom dealt with but sometimes I felt like it was way exaggerated. No one's mom would tell them not to wear their red bathrobe because they might be mistaken as part of a gang. Cute, easy read. Would recommend it if you have 30 minutes to laugh a little.
