snore. Everytime I thought the book was going to start an interesting story line, it came up with nothing. What could have been a really interesting and entertaining book, turned into a socialist/communist vs. capitalist showdown (and a rather boring one, at that). I thought the main characters were very interesting, but still, not enough to carry the book. Better luck next time, I guess.

It took me several months to read this. Started reading it more as a personal challenge rather than entertainment. It's a very interesting story with some rather intricate battle scene descriptions. Would I read it again? Probably not without some coaxing...
