see review from the first book in the trilogy. I only read this because it is impossible for me to read 1 book of a series/trilogy and not the others. It's a great book if you want a little fluff and escapism......and who doesn't need that ocassionally?

I really wanted to like this book...because I thought I should. Honestly it was really boring and I definitely don't like Hemingway's writing style. It was very difficult for me to get past the exessive drinking and bullfights that dominated the book. I'm sure there was something much deeper, but I couldn't see it through drinking and boring descriptions of bull fights.

This was a nice fluffy beach read. Like a daytime drama in book form. My only real complaint,(other than it was pure fluff), was that the main characters had sex like every 5 pages throughout the last 1/2 of the book. It got a little old after a while (the author couldn't even write variety into fiction sex). I am more of a quality over quantity person anyway :)

There were 2-3 parts of this book where I totally lost it and cried, not a few tears, but a real cry. If I ever have time I'll pull page numbers and quotes. I do remember that they were all symbolic of our individual relationship with God.

I love the theory behind "eating clean", but this book didn't really have any new info that I hadn't heard before.
