Simply put, this is one of the best books I've ever read. As soon as I finished it, I felt like I could read it over again. It is in no way easy, although very readable, but the payoff of the conclusion is so profound and satisfying, even as it leaves the reader pondering for hours (days?) afterward. It shows the sublime in one of the best ways - that we are everything and nothing, and how that knowledge affects us. I'm finding it very hard to articulate just what made it so good (another reason I feel like I need to read it again - to settle in my mind everything that it made me feel - and perhaps best left for a personal journal entry), but I think that this novel contains perhaps the most accurate and honest portrayal of human psychology I've read.
