I was not ready for this episode to be over! I tried to see what the future episodes were about by reading on Amazon and they all say the same thing! So no helpful hints for me.
Lots of drama, action starts right from the beginning of Collateral Damage and goes till the end. The characters we learn a little more about them especially one of the deceased Zulu members Jamie. I like her apartment!
We meet a few new characters in this episode. Like Lieutent Francesca Solomon's family. She wants to prove that her father was innocent and place the blame on Trace Weston where she knows it belongs. She is sure he is guilty and thinks he is killing the women and covering it up.
The setting for this book is the United States. They go to a few different states from Washington to Nevada to Colorado.
We learn a little more about what happened five years ago. I know who I don't trust but it is probably a red herring this early into the series.
The women are ready to fight back.
There were cliffhangers from the Beginning and they were resolved besides the guilty parties ect. There are new cliffhangers in Collateral Damage. They leave you anxious to keep reading and being involved in their lives.
I like the characters. I don't know who I want Annie to be with. Teya wants to go back to the Amish life she left and that seems like it would be a big obstacle to overcome.

This is another serial book. This one is longer than the first serial from Shiloh Run Studios. It looks to be 6 episodes and longer than their first one. It started on July 4 and every Friday a new episode comes out.
In Overkill we meet the main characters of the series and start to care about them. It does have a few questions that hopefully be answered soon. Definitely left me wanting more of them.
At times it is a little confusing because each of the women that were part of the Zulu the first all women special forces team are in hiding. They have their birth name, the name they are hiding under and their code number. My answer to that I had two kindles and left one with front of story that had the characters and bio opened for quick glance, And then I read on my other kindle. but you could just book mark it unless you have no memory problems.
Someone set the Zulus up five years ago when things went wrong, Innocent women and children were killed. The Zulus were scattered and given different names. Now someone has found them and is picking them off one by one. It is a race to figure out what is happening now and stop them before it is too late for all of the Zulus.
This story is not afraid of killing the characters off. It draws you quickly into the story and leaves you wanting more. I know I am going to read the next episode today.
I want to see who is sending killers after the Zulus? Who is betraying them now and five years ago? Will Annie and Sam get together? Will Teya become Amish? Where is the missing Zulu? I really want to know the answers and more.
The setting for this story takes you all over because each of the women are hidden away from each other.
The pace of the book is very fast. Not boring or dragging at all.
Ronie Kendig writes novels that deal with military with characters and story lines that I have always liked. I look forward to reading Operation Zulu Redemption serial.

I liked the Stones Of Horsh. Since my memory is so terrible these days I reread Benotripia the Rescue. It still holds up years later. I am looking forward to reading Benotripia Keys to the Dream World next.
McKenzie Wagner is impressive when she first wrote Benotripia she was not even a teenager. She writes exciting adventures for her heroes. The characters are interesting and likeable. You are rooting for them. It is fast paced. Read it in one sitting.
Roseabelle has many powers. Her mother is the leader of Benotripia. Someday she will be in power. She already feels the responsibility of it. She can draw something and it will turn out real. She even drew a animals that don't exist and they were real.
Jessicana, Is a healer and can turn into a parrot.
Astro can shoot lighting out of his fingers.
Benotripia's enemy are sighted by Astro and Jessicana. Their parents are away to help the people in the North who are having problems. They find out they are going for mystical stones that have power. So the three children decide to beat them to the stones.
Their are some interesting creatures in the story. Easy to believe it.

I realized that there was two new books in the series that I had not read yet. So I read them both right after each other.
Helen is back. She has a lot of issues and is stressed. She hates being shot at. Even though she has been dead over a year. She can not control what she wears. Or even if she has mass or not. She will bring lots of laughter as you read about her.
Jadyn is one of the lucky ones that can see and talk to her. Which makes for fun when she tries to ignore her. Jadyn is the game warden in Mudbug. She is pretty new to the area still.
Colt is the sheriff. He has been attracted to Jadyn even kissed her once but after the case they were working he had to leave town. Now he is back and they have to work together again.
A boat has been found damaged, all identifying name has been missing. They don't know who owns it. If they have a missing person or what. As they try and figure out who owns the boat someone tries to kill Jadyn.
This is a fun series that Made me laugh a few times and smile through the book. I hope more books come with these characters. I will read them.(less)

I love this series. It is light, fun cozy mystery. The characters I love.
The ghost-in-law is Helen. She reminds me of lucy in I love Lucy. Always causing a mess of trouble that makes you laugh. She wears weird outfits, she can't always control. She can't control sometimes if she has mass or not always at the wrong moments. She is always stealing food. Only a few women can see her. Helen used to be rich.
Jadyn St. James is the new game warden. She is Maryse's cousin. She has not been to the area for too long. Has issues with her mother. She can see Helen.
Maryse Robicheaux was the daughter-in-law to Helen. She was the first to see and hear Helen at the funeral. They did not get along. Helen left her most everything because she knew Maryse would protect the land. She is now married to Luc a DEA Agent.
Sheriff Colt Bertrand is attracted to Jadyn. Colt is tricky. He wants to help find his friend even if she is not found in his area.
One FBI Agent was run over by hit and run on his way back to town. His wife another FBI Agent Raissa Bordeaux is missing. The two agents are married. They had just finished a undercover assignment. The FBI Agent in charge wants everyone not FBI to stay out of the swampland. Maryse actually owns the land and leases it to the state. Jadyn has authority over the swamp. Colt figures out if he takes his vacation and can be a private contractor working under Jadyn they can search the cabins in the swampland and look to see if someone has been using one to keep Raissa.
I laughed a lot reading this book. I am glad to see more of these characters. I bought it on amazon.(less)

This is the first book I have read of Jenna's but won't be the last. I have already added a couple to my wish to read pile. I really like the characters even peanut.
Beth had some real fears she had to overcome. Beth is a second grade teacher. Her father was a cop who died in the line of duty. There is no way Beth will date a cop. She has moved back to live with her mom.
Nicholas Grey is now a single father. He is a cop. He does not plan to get serious with anyone soon. He needs to build more close relationship with his son. That's why he took the job in smaller town.
Corey is close to failing second grade. They moved with only two months left in the year. He hates to read. He has been bounced around after his mom died because of his father's work. He is a cute. Death of a parent is hard on children, and for awhile he even lost his father. Mine did not want to be left for years.
Mary is Beth's mom. She has agreed to watch Corey after school. She keeps feeding Corey and Nicholas. Corey fits in with Beth and Mary so fast and easy. She also lives right across the street from the school.
The setting of the book is Lellaro, Michigan. A small town right close to two great lakes.
The book does talk about faith, prayer and leave the rest in God's hands. Not in a overbearing way but a natural part of the story. I thought it was done in a good positive way.
This is a good clean read.

It got my heart racing. Also made me think what would I do in Adrielle's place. This story has mystery, heart, great setting, craft ideas, strong likeable characters, and is a clean read.
The setting is Sun Valley Idaho. One of the weddings is set up in the mountain by hot springs. Makes me want to go there.
Adrielle Pyper has come back to Idaho after things went wrong in San Frisco. She has opened her own wedding planning business. She is single. They have just added wedding dresses to the shop.
While unpicking a wedding dress hem she feels something hard in the dress and weird shapes. It is in her biggest wedding. There shop was broken into. Wedding dresses were missing, another dress had damage. Who is trying to ruin her business?
Adri has two guys that want to date her. The one is shy and sweet. The other is hot but does not think much about weddings and marriage.
Before every chapter has interesting craft ideas for weddings. They also have the website where you can go to see them and more.http://www.mashedpotatoesandcrafts.com/ they have pictures of the steps to the craft ideas. I like the web site but wish the crafts were in back of book for easier to find at a later date.
I enjoyed reading Diamond Rings are Deadly Things. I would read more books of this series.

Em Johnson went through a bad divorce and came over from mainland to help her Uncle Louie manage his bar. She is dating Roland.
Roland is Kauai police detective and part-time fire dancer. They met over a murder.

This is the first book in the Sandy Fairfax Teen Idol Mysteries series. I did not realize that at first and was getting confused. I had already read The Sinister Sitcom Caper. So I was confused that they were introducing stuff that I already knew about.
I liked The Baffled Beatlemaniac Caper. I would recommend reading them in order but they can stand alone.
I liked the characters. Sandy Fairfax seems like a real tv star. I liked all the references to Hardy boys Mysteries, Donny Osmond and Beatles. I admit to living through those days.
Sandy Fairfax was a tv character that solved mysteries. He also sang. He was on a different network and up against the Hardy boys. Like some stars he did drugs and drank to much.
Ernest has not worked for five years. He stopped drinking the day before this book started. His ex-wife will not let him see his kids till he stops drinking and is working again. He is broke or close to it. So he agrees to go to a Beatle convention. Ringo was a guest star on his detective tv show.
Bunny is a big fan of Sandy Fairfax. She is one of the sponsers for this convention. It is run on a shoe string. It is the first one in Evansville, Indiana.
Their is a Beatle tribute concert. One of the band members turns up dead. Ernest finds the body and is a suspect.
Their is a lot of trivia about the sixties, Beatles. Lots of humor, action, drama and murder mystery. It is also a clean read. It hits the right tones to be believable convention. Makes me want to go to one.
The story mostly takes place in a couple of days at the motel where the convention is staying in Evansville, Indiana.
This is a fun mystery series. I have enjoyed both books but I like Baffled Beatlemaniac Caper best. I look forward to reading more of this series.

This is a mystery of a Aunt Liz who raised her three nieces after their mom abandoned them with her. Now she is missing. The cops have looked into the case and have no leads. In both previous books Sheri's older sisters have found love with two of the detectives working the case.
This is the third and last book of the series. I like that it is only three books to the series. So I can remember them. I guessed one of the twists but was surprised at the rest. Their is one love scene I skipped over. I like the characters.
Sheri is waiting for her prince. She knows he will be tall and blond hair. Sheri owns her own business sell Amish goods to tourists. She sells quilts, furniture, cheeses and other goods. Sheri is quiet in a group. She lives alone on five acres of woods. She has a well trained dog named Highway.
Jimmy Carmani is the third detective. He is short with dark hair. He is called to go to Sheri's house that she has a gun on someone. Sheri has no shooting signs all around her property. When local hunter is hunting she gets her shotgun out. Jimmy has no family and is from the big city.
Someone is following Sheri home from work. Her dog is barking and does not bark at animals. Sheri calls Jimmy out. While he is their checking out her place they agree to hang out sometimes as friends. Since his two co-workers have found love with Sheri's sisters.
Now someone is after Sheri.
This is a fast read. We find out who took Liz and why. We know a little about Liz from the previous two stories.
The setting is small town thirty miles from Hershey Pennsylvania. Has a Amish community.
