So Jeremy decided to buy it for the Nook(he seems to think he will read it) I really enjoyed it it was a fun read and it did explain more. Sometimes I wondered how in the world Orson Scott Card was able to mesh so many cultures and ideas together and then I decided it must be exhausting to "be the fly on the wall" in his brain. There were times as I read it that I would tell myself it was getting less then 3 stars then at other times I found it so clever and well thought that it should get more than 3 stars. In the end I decided it was a solid 3 stars. There were so many layers to this book that at times I found it hard to follow them all and some were so complex that it went over my head. In the end they really worked for each other. I am actually really looking forward to reading the last book to see how they avoid the xenocide.(less)

I loved...moreI think at some point in my life I had started this book but must have not finished it, the first half seemed very familiar but not the last. I loved the concept of the battle school and commander school. Playing in the battle room would have been so much fun. It was a bit disturbing how old Ender was when he left home(maybe it would not have bothered me so much if it wouldn't have meant that Cameron would be at battle school now and as mature as he is to handle that kind of stress and decisions really didn't seem fair). I really enjoyed Card's idea of the Buggers. Cant wait to get a hold of the next one it has been requested at the library.(less)
