This story is part of a series and is best read in order. Simon and Michael are back and their partnership as investigators is a lot easier than their relationship behind closed doors. As Simon and Michael come to terms with what they share, they still have work to do and they discover there was more to the 'Brown man' than they first realized. Picking up a case for missing paintings, their investigations lead to the discovery of a connection to Simon's family, and they stumble across a city-wide criminal ring. Throw in a secretive man called Moshe who won't leave them alone and they have an interesting couple of days ahead of them.
If you have read the previous stories in this series then you know that Michael is a confident man who is cheeky and cheery, but has found himself infatuated with an uptight man. You will also know that Simon is that uptight man who is still struggling with what Michael makes him feel, but he is becoming slightly more relaxed and not quite as grumpy as he portrays to be. Their adventures together usually ends with injury, capture and danger but they usually get their man and this story is no different with more characters adding to the intrigue.
As they work together on the new investigation we see how they compliment each other, but, it is still not easy especially when a figure from Simon's past sticks his neb in. The investigation is interesting and leads to a bigger investigation with Michael and Simon turning to Pinkerton's and making a deal. Moshe is a man with surprises and who keeps his secrets close to his chest, so close in fact that he makes Michael look like a blabber mouth, but if Moshe really wants Simon's co-operation then he has to learn to share.
I really liked this story and the progression of Michael's and Simon's relationship, although from the first story to now it has only been a matter of days it does seem longer and Simon's reticence adds to the overall effect of it being drawn out. I love the way that Simon works through what he is feeling rather than jumping in feet first and Michael seems to be getting Simon's nature better and backs off a little in this one, letting Simon come to him and make the first move. At times the story does seem to take place a lot in their heads as they think and dissect what is happening between them, and reliving certain couplings but it doesn't take away from what is going on around them. We also see how their relationship is heating up with a lot more sexual activity taking place with *gasp* Simon taking the initiative more.
I recommend this to those who love historicals, great characters coming to an understanding, an interesting investigation, secrets being revealed and an ending that is oddly hot and slightly touching. (less)
This book is part of a series and must be read in order. Luki and Sonny are back home and Luki is suffering from the after effects of shooting a young guard during the rescue of their teenage nephew Jackie. Sonny is reaching the end of his patience as Luki seems to slip further away everyday and Luki can't seem to pull himself out of his downward spiral. When Sonny gets into trouble it brings Luki to awareness, and when Sonny sets off for his European tour Luki begins to seek the help that he needs. When Sonny becomes impossible to contact Luki begins to worry and sets off to find his missing husband, Sonny desperately needs his husbands help as an obsessed art agents plans for him turn deadly.
Sonny and Luki are back and this time Luki has to deal with PTSD before he can run to Sonny's rescue. Luki begins to realize that he has to improve and get help if he is to continue in his role of Sonny's protector and husband and the beginnings of his recovery comes just in time when he realizes that something isn't quite right. Sonny's dreams of an exhibit is Europe comes to fruition but it soon goes wrong when he notices that there is something wrong with his phone and email, and his agents behavior makes him wary.
This is another brilliant Vasquez and James story which delves into PTSD. Luki isn't the tower of strength that we have come to know and love, he was hit hard with the death of the young guard in Finding Jackie. It was something he has done many times before but this time he feels guilt, but Luki can't get the image of green eyes out of his mind, he has tumbled into a world that is gray and suffers from nightmares. As he swims through the fog in his mind he ignores all around him, until he gets a wake up call and realizes what he is doing to Sonny. Sonny is as lovable as ever but he is struggling with Luki's illness, he feels helpless but knows nothing he is doing is helping, Sonny has tried all that he can to help Luki, but Luki refuses professional help and there is nothing that Sonny can do except love Luki. As the book progresses we see how both of the feel and although their love is strong and they would stand by each other through anything, Sonny can't put his life on hold forever and Luki gets the kick in the ass he needs to get help.
The book then shifts to the action part with Luki recovering enough to begin to function as a human being and realizing that something is wrong with Sonny in Paris. Sonny finds himself in trouble with no way out and Luki sweeps in like a vengeful angel with the help of an old flame. This is a really well written story that has us seeing strife in paradise as Luki struggles with his demons. We feel Sonny's frustration as he sees Luki fall under the weight of his demons and we are encouraged when Luki begins to fight back against the demons. But then comes the twisted man who wants Sonny for his own, and while Luki runs to the rescue he still has to fight against the PTSD that try's to pull him under.
I recommend this to those who love action Luki style, an incredible love, dealing with demons, danger, hot loving and a great ending. (less)
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Vic is still stinging from Jacob taking a job at FPMP (Federal Psychic Monitoring Program) even if it is to find out just what is going on. Vic still wants nothing to do with Con and his program but he owes the man an exorcism and decides it is time to get it out of the way. But, there are still some questions left unanswered from the Roger Burke fiasco and the puzzle of Dr. Chance's demise and haunting and then there is the GhosTV, nothing is quite what it seems and Vic begins to .
Ah Vic and Jacob, two exceptional humans who make it a joy to read the PsyCop series. While I enjoyed this story and had much entertainment while reading it, I couldn't help feel like it was pretty directionless in it's quest to wrap up loose ends. Vic decides it is time to do the exorcism that he owes Con Dreyfuss and then instead of just doing it and walking away from FPMP, he visits and then keeps going back and getting involved in finding out who the repeaters are before he exorcises them. He then gets pulled into Jacob's case and he discovers he might have just misjudged Con all along, but maybe not misjudged the FPMP.
As I turned each page I was waiting for that spark that made PsyCop special but it just kept missing the mark, the story felt directionless, there wasn't one thing to grab hold of and say 'yep this is it', there were several things that pulled your attention and you were never quite sure which was important and what was filler. Yes, some might say that they are interesting plot threads and are woven together brilliantly but unlike the other stories there doesn't seem to be a main single thread to attach the others to, unless you count Vic dragging out an exorcism the main thread. Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy this story and yes I have had a good whine but I was really expecting more in the way of a gripping storyline like in the rest of PsyCops. Vic and Jacob are still great characters with both of them being relaxed in their relationship, Vic seems much more stable than before although he still has his moments and Vic is disillusioned by the court results of his arrests. Lisa is much more prominent in this story but even with knowing the background I couldn't quite understand why Vic and Jacob were so protective of her.
I recommend this if you love ghosts and psychics, wrapping up loose ends, beginning the move in a new direction and a very interesting story.
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Vic is still being hounded by Dreyfuss to work for the FPMP (Federal Psychic Monitoring Program), he still doesn’t want to what with them spying on him and everything but when his best friend Lisa goes missing he is forced to work with Dreyfuss who is determined to work his way into his life in any way he can.
Yet another fantastic PsyCop installment that gives your mind much more to chew on. Vic is desperate to find out what happened to Lisa and along with his lover Jacob they head to the airport where they hit a snag and Dreyfuss comes to the ‘rescue’. When they arrive they find Lisa isn’t the only one missing and it’s not long before someone else disappears as well, Vic and Jacob are running against time but with the help of a nifty gift they are coming close to finding their friend.
This story has some twists and turns, manipulation, danger, scary images and misunderstandings, as we progress through the book we see how much Vic and Jacob both have developed as characters and how well they have developed as a couple as well, there isn’t really much more that I can tell you about this story as it is a series that has to be experienced to fully understand the references and relationships and to appreciate what Vic goes through, as Jacob says to Vic near the end of this book ‘I never really understood how brave you are’.
So all in all a brilliant addition to the series and even though there are only a couple of sex scenes they are hot and erotic, we also see how Vic’s powers develop and some new ones emerging with the help of the ‘gift’ from Dreyfuss. This story is well written and thoroughly enjoyable and if you like anything from above then you will love this book I highly recommend this book especially if you love paranormal/psychic stories. This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Jack and Sean have settled in Mexico, having survived the aliens who hunted them they still keep their heads down as much as they can. When Jack starts to have dreams about his 'son' Nicky and Sean admits to dreams of his 'son' David the suspicions that they aren't safe begin to mount but seeing a US Marshall with a daughter who looks just like their sons have them ready to flee.
Well, we are again brought into the spear of aliens infiltrating the world, with children used to bring the adults to their knees and a desperate fight for survival. Jack and Sean have come a long way from Haywire, building a new life far from those that hunt them, but with the dreams coming they begin to realize that those that want them haven't given up their hunt. But, before they can move on again their nightmares come knocking. Sean and Jack get separated and have to find their way back to each other, but things become complicated when Sean remembers what the numbers mean and he becomes one of Earths last chances of survival.
I thought Haywire was trippy with the confusion of what was and what wasn't real and we are again treated to the doubts as Sean and Jack take control and fight not only the aliens but their memories as well. Sean comes to the fore in this story as his past is fully remembered and the aliens are desperately trying to reclaim both Jack and Sean. The flickers in time as the scenes change are jolting and you again begin to wonder what is real and what is dreams and wishful hopes, you can clearly see how both men still love their sons and wish it had all been real and you can only admire them as they refuse to give in and accept the blissful false by clinging to the nightmare truth. Sean's secrets that he forgot really bring this story to life as we realize that the aliens have nearly conquered large parts of Earth, and the secrets that were locked in Sean's mind could bring liberation for all.
I recommend this to those who love science fiction, secret alien invasions, a love that overcomes mind control, a great twist and a wonderful sweet ending. (less)
Rhys lives in underground Winderport with his gang Fury, they all know that there is a world above them that they have heard stories about but never do they ever expect to leave the underground. When one of his gang, Joey, is murdered Rhys is on the trail of the killer all the way up to above Winderport, where the killer has a meeting with a mysterious man. But Rhys has an accident and forgets everything, all he has to go on is a flash of memory of fat fingers and some pictures of a sexy man. When he meets Kullian he can't fight the attraction but he has to regain his memories as he knows there is something important he has to do.
This is a great story set some time in the future where the underground tunnels has it's own civilization and the above world is run by powerful men. Rhys is the leader of his gang, a small group of guys who are like family, but now one of their own has been murdered and Rhys is determined to make the killer pay. Kullian is a Fey Baron, a self made powerful man, and somebody has stolen something that should never fall into anyone's hands and he wants it back. The two men cross paths and their worlds collide but can their attraction really breach the divide of above and underground Winderport?
Rhys and Kullian are both great characters who come together by chance, Rhys is looking for the murderer of his friend and Kullian wants back what was stolen. Their paths cross and their reaction to each other is instant, but Rhys' memory loss is hampering him and after an amazing night with Kullian he attempts to go on the hunt again. While the story is playing out above ground, we also see what is happening underground with Rhys' gang and their desperation to find Rhys but they also have to deal with a rival gang boss who has a grudge against Rhys. The gang characters Teneff, Pylei, Nerin, Westvil and Guneal are wonderfully written and add a lot to the story, enriching the storyline and helping to connect the threads together.
I recommend this to those who love futuristic stories, great characters, a well woven plot, a great storyline with danger, twists and tense situations, a fast developing relationship, hot sex and a great ending. (less)
Jerrod (Rod) is hot stuff in Hollywood but during an award night he discovers that he isn't truly happy because of who he left behind. Live on TV he announces to the world that he is gay and is going home to find forgiveness from the boy he left behind, but he gets much more than he bargained for. Chris never really recovered from the rejection of his best friend when he admitted to being in love with him, now he protects his heart from being devastated again, but when Rod comes rolling back into town looking for forgiveness and a new start Chris doesn't think he is in a forgiving mood. Mitch is pulled back into his friends lives when Rod is injured, their friendship was always something special and now the three of them can be together like they were meant to be. But someone is lurking in the background and they have no intention of letting the three men have their happily ever after.
This is an action packed story of a man just trying to return to the ones he loves. Jerrod finds himself wanting what he walked away from and decides to do something to get it back, leaving Hollywood for his hometown he discovers it isn't going to be easy to win back the heart of the man he walked away from. Chris has moved on with his life but he will never risk his heart again, when Jerrod makes his first move it is Chris' f**k buddy who receives the first volley, and the ex has no intention of going quietly. Jerrod and Chris finally lay the past to rest but with Jerrod injured it brings Mitch back into their lives, and just as they all begin to find happiness someone decides they are going to put an end to the relationship for good.
I found this story to be filled with movie type action and excitement, it was a very interesting storyline and was filled with danger and rediscovered love. The characters are all brilliant and very happy and friendly with each other, they can also plan up a storm and enact it with skill and precision. We meet both Jerrod's and Chris' parents who are very nice and we briefly see Mitch's parents but that isn't a happy time. The relationship between Jerrod and Chris is very rocky at first but dangerous times causes them to put the past behind them. When Mitch enters the picture it is out of the left field and blindsides you, I never saw it coming because they hadn't even thought of Mitch until, suddenly, he is at the hospital and they are all over each other, he makes a great addition though and he does seem to be the missing piece for Jerrod and Chris.
Now although the storyline is exciting and we are told that the story from different peoples perspective I still wasn't prepared for when it happened, why? Well the perspective didn't just change, it was also rewound so the scene we had just seen from Jerrod's perspective was then repeated from Chris' perspective and while it was great to get another persons perspective it just seemed a bit much to repeat the entire scene.
I recommend this to those who love action, multiply men rediscovering love, shoot-outs and emergency actions, facing fears and accepting love and an ending that has you wanting more. (less)
Tyrel is a bodyguard and has been assigned his newest charge, an ambassador who is assigned the task of negotiating with a primitive planet. Verithe is an ambassador for the Union of planetary governments, he is heading for negotiations with Corrina, a planet which is called cursed. Verithe and Tyrel find themselves stranded on the planets surface and fighting for their lives, but the one thing they don't fight is their attraction to each other. Tyrel wonders how Verithe will manage such a hostile territory with his lighthearted and gentle nature and Verithe wonders if Tyrel will be able to ignore the seductive pull of the violence and danger.
This is a great science fiction story that takes us on a journey to a primitive world where only the strongest survive. Verithe is heading to the cursed planet Corrina after they demanded negotiations, not knowing what they face but knowing already what the Union have decided. Tyrel has one job and that is to keep Verithe safe, unfortunately keeping him safe proves harder than he thought when the Corrinan's aren't happy with the way negotiations are going. The two men survive by sheer will and a survivor from a previous expedition, after they are betrayed by one of their own, now they just have to wait for rescue and pray that it comes in time.
This story is wonderfully written, it gives us enough back story so we aren't left in the dark over what they are facing on the planet and lets us know that their time on the planet isn't going to be easy. Verithe seems like a gentle soul and although he doesn't like violence accepts that sometimes it is the only way. Tyrel is a character that is harsher, he will do what must be done but sometimes loses himself to the violence. Both characters coming together balance each other out and Tyrel sees the steel running through Verithe and Verithe helps to keep Tyrel tempered. Their sexual relationship is very hot, but at first came out of nowhere when they were still in a very precarious position, it was also a shock because although there was vague murmurs about attraction there wasn't any indication that it was that strong.
I loved the way Corrina was portrayed as a primitive violent place where you could easily let your inner dark side take over, letting yourself be seduced by the darker undertones of survival of the strongest. I liked how Verithe somehow managed to keep Tyrel leashed and how Tyrel loved the more easy going Verithe. This is a really good storyline which is original and has plenty of action, it has a love developing in horrid conditions and has friendships emerging with the less violent Corrinan's.
I recommend this if you love science fiction, primitive planets and inhabitants, strong characters, hot sex, action and danger and a very satisfying ending. (less)
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Marco has come far and proved himself tough enough to be a US Marshal, but he isn't out in the field yet so on advice from Jubilee he enrolls in extra Marshal and FBI courses. Marco discovers on his return that he really does have a family in Jubilee, Kieran, Nicholas, Sean and Trace. But, Marco discovers that his old family haven't forgot about him, and when he goes undercover for the first time he knows he never forgot about one person from his past. Sam is now the leader of the biker gang Born Evil and because of the actions of the former leaders he is embroiled in deals he wants no part of. Sam is trying to pull his gang back from the brink but with his step-father Carter Dellburn bent on revenge, being pushed in directions he doesn't want to go and the US Marshals sniffing around Sam finds himself making deals he might just regret.
Ah Marco, caught in a trap of secrets longings and forbidden love drawn to a man who is on the opposite side of the law. This story is about three years after Spring Leaves with Marco joining the ranks of the US Marshals and going on his first field assignment. With Marco's first assignment he comes into direct contact with his first love Sam, he is terrified his cover will be blown but Sam hold back for some reason. Sam never forgot Marco but his life is set, he is the leader of a feared biker gang and he has no way out no matter how much he might long for it. Sam and Macro might be on opposite sides, but neither wants the other hurt. Their feelings for each other still burn bright and passion flares but the fall out may be too much for either to handle.
This is a great addition to this series, we remember Marco being a horn-dog but he is more mature and grown up now. He discovers that the family he has chosen will do anything for him and the family he left wants revenge. The conflict he finds himself in due to his continued attraction to Sam is one that could cost him everything if it is discovered but he never really seems to acknowledge it, Sam is different he does think about the ramifications but can't say no. The danger and turmoil that follows them is exciting and new links are revealed in the ongoing war between the US Marshals and the Howard family. We see many of the characters from previous books, we discover that Sam is so much more than a mindless biker and Trace and Marco have targets on their backs.
I recommend this to those who love action, danger, a dangerous relationship, hot secret sex, new twists and the feeling that things are just beginning to heat up. (less)
Prophet works alone, he prefers it that way, but his boss at Extreme Escapes, LTD. has just given him a new partner and a case that is haunted by ghosts of his past. Tom has just come on board EEL and is still wondering why he was offered the job, but he takes the new case and reluctant partner anyway. With a history of his partners dying Tom is determined that it won’t happen this time, but with the way that Prophet dices with death it is down to luck. Prophet and Tom have to find a way to take down killers in the world of underground cage fighting and discover just why the victim was murdered. Their attraction is instant and giving into their attraction is easy, but trusting each other is much harder and what little trust they have will be tested to the limits.
Both MC’s in this book are haunted by their pasts, Prophet because of a promise he made and Tom because all his partners have been killed. Both characters are complex in their own way, Prophet is the most complex with his attitude and broken self-worth, Tom has his own complexities with his seemly ‘bad luck’ and premonition feelings. Their instant attraction leads into a difficult relationship while they are investigating a murder that has murky leads and those leads are mysteriously tied to Prophet, and, a video that Tom mysteriously received even before ever meeting Prophet.
I have to say this is one frustrating book, it gives you hope, hints and clues but leaves you grasping for solid answers. While we learn a lot about both men’s backgrounds it still leaves us in the dark though, it’s like peeling back the first layer only to discover another layer underneath covered in steel. The storyline is really good and you get dragged into the danger and mystery, you get frustrated at Prophet’s attitude and you can’t help hope that Tom will smack the crap out of him to knock some sense into him. Their relationship is one of tension, frustration and incredible hot sex with Tom doing most of the work to crack Prophet’s steel shell.
This really isn’t the book to read if you are just looking for an easy read or perfect relationship, it’s the book to read if you want something to chew on and frustrate you. It isn’t a pretty book with hearts and flowers, in fact there are times you could cheerfully string up both Tom and Prophet because they annoy you so much. There are no dewy eyes from these dangerous men, black eyes yes, and there’s no sweet words but plenty of cursing and there is certainly no happily ever after unless the author is very happy with our screaming and cursing as we get to the end and discover frustration.
I recommend this if you love mysterious men making the world a better place, if you love broken men who aren’t sure if they want to be fixed, scorching hot sex, a great storyline that leaves you frustrated and if are a glutton for punishment. (less)
Ryan and Nathan parted ways two months ago when Nathan’s ambitions took him to LA, now Ryan has decided to fight for their relationship not wanting to lose the man he loves. Traveling to LA to try for a second chance, he walks into destruction when an earthquake hits and he becomes Nathan’s only chance of survival. It’s a race against time to rescue Nathan and to flee the hills of LA as after tremors hit and a fire races after them, the life and death race puts their feelings into perspective and now they just have to survive to share their love.
R.J. Scott takes a natural occurrence and turns it into the stuff of nightmares, she takes our fears and brings them to life while twining a love story with terror and determination to survive. Ryan was insecure and jealous in his relationship with Nathan, so when Nathan decided to follow his dream of acting Ryan let him go thinking it was the start of the end. Nathan wanted Ryan to fight for their relationship even though he knew that Ryan wouldn’t fight for them, he still loves Ryan but their only hope of ever being together is if Ryan tries. Ryan has missed Nathan and wants to make a go of it, but just before he reaches Nathan the earthquake strikes.
This is an incredibly descriptive story, not just in the stark and horrifying settings but of the emotional trauma and feelings that the characters have. We are dragged through the entire book with the sense of hopeless loss with just a glimmer of light to shine our way; the knowledge that Ryan and Nathan will become stronger for their experience at the hands of Mother Nature. Ryan and Nathan are just a couple who have lost their way, letting stupid insignificant things come between them until one of them makes the first step towards reconciliation. They have to work together, they have to have determination and they have to make sacrifices.
Focusing on any one thing in this story is hard to do because to focus on one aspect would diminish the effects of the other, Ryan and Nathan’s relationship might be important and they are trying to sort it out, but they have love and Mother Nature shows them that petty differences are just that, petty. The earthquake angle is shocking and devastating and R.J. Scott drops us into the centre of a hell hole with her horrifying descriptions and terrifying feelings, damn she does it so well that you could imagine she has experienced it first-hand, that’s how terrifyingly realistic the settings come across.
I will recommend this to those who love realistic settings and emotions, love and drama, death and hope, danger and rescues and finally a relationship being forged in the fires of hell. (less)
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Luki and Sonny are having their Hawaiian wedding before they embark on their RV honeymoon, but they don’t get to enjoy it like they should when Luki receives a job offer, that could come in handy, and the past rears its ugly head determined to enact revenge. Sonny and Luki have to put their differences aside as they embark on a cross country hunt, it needs the skills of both men as they search for Jackie who has been lured into a trap and whose life is now in danger.
Okay, first on a light note: if I was related to Luki or Sonny I would be heading for an unmarked small Island to live out my life in peace. Luki and Sonny think that the past is the past and are looking forward to their honeymoon, little do they know that someone is smarting because of their actions in Delsyn's Blues. Luki’s nephews are still recovering from their fathers’ actions with Jackie struggling, Jackie gets lured into a trap by a sadistic killer who is determined to make Luki pay for his actions. Sonny struggles with Luki’s decision with work and Luki is a little resentful about Sonny’s weaving.
Lou Sylvre drags up back into the world of Sonny and Luki with another devastating adventure. Sonny still has moments of grief about Delsyn, Luki feels that he needs the advantage of a badge and they are both completely happy with their marriage. Things go really bad for them though when Rita (an old snitch of Luki’s) comes to them with a message and then Jackie goes missing from home. From then on there is a cross country hunt with Luki initiating new recruit Brian in the ways of Luki. With a daring rescue to pull off Luki and Sonny have to face their fears.
This is a brilliant book that just won’t let you out of its grip. Jackie is such a sweet kid who is just looking to find himself but through a twist of fate he finds himself the victim of a sadistic killer, the scenes with Jackie will have your eyes filling as he realises his chance of rescue is slim. Luki and Sonny are as we remember them with Luki having relaxed just a bit so his edges are a touch smoother. The action and danger is excellent, the storyline is brilliant and the characters are wonderful, there are steamy sex scenes and touching moments, heart to hearts and facing fears, this book has it all.
I recommend this story to all those who love suspense, action, romance, love, hot sex, emotional scenes, danger and the baddie getting his. (less)
When reporter Drew is snatched off the street one night he finds himself fearing for his life, connecting his abduction to the mysterious disappearance of three other young gay men, a story he had been investigating, he discovers the sick games of a madman. Chance is horrified by his father but he has little choice, do what his father wants or be hunted himself, there’s only one chance for Drew and Chance to escape before they are caught. With skilled trackers on their trail and unsure of the terrain their survival hinges on them working together.
Holy hell, this is a spine chilling story of not just being hunted by madmen, but also of physical and psychological abuse. Drew storms off upset after a showdown with his boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend now, he gets snatched off the street and wakes up bound and gagged and listens to plans his kidnappers have for him and he knows he has very little chance of survival. Chance has returned to his father when he is home from the military, when his father drags him on a hunt and Chance discovers what his prey will be he is horrified, but his father makes it clear that it is a ‘kill or be killed’ situation. Chance and Drew grow close as they flee through the forest and if they want to see if they can make a go of it they have to get out of the forest alive.
I loved this story, it is a story that you could easily see on the big screen, a thriller, suspense, action romance where the lead characters fall in love as they fight for survival while fleeing from madmen who see them as nothing but prey. Drew finds himself in a situation that makes him curse his bad luck, but he doesn’t lose hope, he wants to hate Chance, but he quickly realises that Chance is in a terrible situation himself. Chance has suffered years of physical and psychological abuse, challenging his father just ends in pain, but something about Drew makes him want to escape from the madman his father is.
You will love Chance and Drew, Drew with his determination to survive and his slightly cocky attitude, Chance with his vulnerability beneath his tough exterior and his longing for something he has not had since he was three… love. This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as we process fear, anger, desperation, loss, regret, attraction, developing love, hope and then relief and joy, we connect with these characters as they run for their lives and we pray along with them that they will overcome the obstacles that they face.
I will recommend this to those who love thrillers, suspense, action, falling in love in hard difficult conditions, finding hope in a bleak landscape and finally having a love that will survive anything. (less)
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Grady and Zane both know that undercover work might not be an option anymore after their pictures are plastered on the news, with over twenty years in the Bureau Zane just might consider retirement, but when Ty receives a call from a friend in need they drop everything to get to New Orleans. But New Orleans holds secrets from Ty’s past, one that briefly crosses paths with Zane’s past. As Ty and Zane face threats from the past, Ty’s secrets shake loose and Zane is left reeling, can Zane and Ty escape from the past and New Orleans alive… and more importantly together?
Ho-ly crap!! This is an action packed, emotional rollercoaster, secret filled, jaw dropping, grin inducing story that you won’t want to put down. This story digs deep into the past and into the secrets that Ty holds close, it’s a story that will make you gasp in shock, moan in despair and grit your teeth in frustration. Forget all the books before because this is the book that defines Ty and Zane, this is the book that could make or break them and this is the book that leaves you reeling in shock, heartbreak, betrayal and hope, all the while you root for our guys and pray that it all works out.
Abigail Roux has crafted an incredible story while keeping the storyline fresh and interesting, she pulls us into Ty and Zane’s world again giving them insurmountable obstacles to overcome. Not only do we get the incredible Zane and Ty but we also get Digger, Owen, Kelly and Nick… oh and I can’t forget blast from Ty’s past Liam, all the characters play brilliantly off each other giving the story an edge. So that’s about all I will say about this book, because I refuse to ruin it for anyone, and this is one book that has to be read to discover the incredible secrets it has hidden. Oh and Abigail Roux… the ending, how could you!
The only recommendation that I can give is to read this book, it isn’t to be missed and if you have read the other books then *scream* you will never believe what’s awaiting you!! And if you haven’t read any of the other books… welcome to Earth, alien visitors. (less)
Shae and Bless find themselves on the frigid mining planet, Glacialis, it is only for a one month stint, but from the second they land they are made to feel far from welcome. As they investigate Shae falls for the Ranger, Bless gets anonymous cards from an admirer and both they and their protector’s head towards horrifying danger.
This is a great combination of steampunk and science fiction, a story that takes steampunk to the stars while giving us an adventure of love and danger. Shae and Bless aren’t impressed when they reach Glacialis, the foreman and the security head both make it clear that they are far from welcome and Shae and Bless decide to keep their heads down. When Tuor (miner/Ranger) needs patching up Shae feels an attraction to him, but it isn’t until Shae stumbles upon blood on an outside wall that Tuor admits the truth and the two come together in more than just investigation.
I enjoyed this story for its imaginative creation of steampunk in space, the characters interaction and the great storyline. We get a good understanding of the rules that they live under for space exploration, the company that Shae and Bless work for and why they are heading to Glacialis. The characters don’t get to interact much because of circumstances, but both their relationships hit them hard and fast, Shae and Tuor as they make plans and Bless and his admirer when Bless needs him most. There are some brilliant descriptions, from the steam machines used for space travel to the bleak world of Glacialis, the landscape and the danger they face.
This story is for those who love steampunk, science fiction, action, danger, finding love in fleeting moments, rescues and a very happy ending. (less)
The Seven Kingdoms are being systematically conquered by the dark wizard king, Meglar, he won’t stop until he has them all under his rule, and there is nobody powerful enough to stop him. Farrell is a young Grand Master wizard and he knows that the Gods have plans for him, he will one day have to face Meglar, but first he has to help some of the Gods followers.
This story is absolutely brilliant, an action packed, high fantasy that drags your imagination along on an epic journey. Farrell is the Gods Chosen, he knows that one day he will have to face the dark Grand Master Melgar and is preparing for that day. When he is asked by the Gods to help a neighbouring Kingdom and informed that he will meet his mate, he is determined to do as the Gods ask. Meeting Miceral in the midst’s of battle surprises him, but the safety of a nation comes first. This is the beginning of an adventure filled with magic, danger, negotiation and love.
I really don’t think that I am able to really do justice to this story, I have to admit that I am floundering as to get my thoughts into words…this book dragged me in and didn’t let go until the last page and even then I wanted more. The storyline is fantastic, the characters are brilliant and the action is incredible, I loved every magic filled minute. Farrell is a character that is secure in his position as a wizard and a prince, but when it comes to love is unsure and scared. Miceral knows that Farrell is the one for him and has no doubts; he has to ease Farrell’s doubts and convince him that Farrell is more than enough for him. For some people it will seem that they connected very quickly, but when it has been ordained by the Gods, well, how can you complain?
There are lots of incredible details in this story, even during the battles; they give you enough so you can picture in your mind exactly what it must look like. With some stories we can become bogged down with details, but with this story there is always just enough to fuel the imagination. Farrell and Miceral’s relationship is great, they are well suited and are a great support for each other, when they have the joining ceremony it is a beautiful moment in the book. The interaction between all the characters is brilliant and each one is drawn into the story in their own right, and they fit perfectly. There is so much I want to say about this story, but to be honest I would ruin it because this is just one of those books that you have to read for yourself.
I have to recommend that everyone gives this book a shot, because this story is filled with everything that you could ever want from a high fantasy; magic, magical creatures, great battles, rescues, escapes, and an assortment of great characters, a brilliant storyline and an ending that leaves you wanting more. Liam is a vampire that kills to survive and he even gets paid for it, when he is asked to kill his ex he jumps at the chance, but when he gets there and finds out that his death is also required he is not happy. Daniel has been looking into his father’s business and now his dad wants him dead, he has to work with the one he betrayed if he wants to get out alive and even then it’s not a sure thing.
This is a great story-line and plot and it has some interesting world building that whets your appetite, the characters are great and the sex is really hot. Liam’s world was destroyed five years ago by his ex and all because his ex-boyfriend didn’t want him to get a mod, Liam ended up cast out and in the Gutter with no one to help him. Daniel didn’t want Liam to get more mods as he hates mods and what they do to people, but he never really meant for Liam to be cast out, now five years later his father wants him dead and his ex is the one who wants to pull the trigger.
I really thought the story-line and plot were great, so were the characters, but I just didn’t get the feeling that they were suited to each other and I just couldn’t get how they just forgave each other either, I mean it was as though two planks of wood were facing each other for all the emotion that they showed each other at first, I was expecting more angst and some sort of explanation that made sense and not just a spoiled brat who ruined someone’s life just because he couldn’t get his own way, and honestly, shooting someone just to check and then being amused by it showed Daniel in a Psychopathic light and he also wasn’t very remorseful for ruining Liam’s life either. Liam is completely justified in his wanting to kill Daniel and I really couldn’t understand why he took the crap off Daniel and then apologised (Door Mat) he’s supposed to be a cold blooded assassin (Door Mat).
Now the story was great, the action was really good and the sex is hot. There is a very good basis here for future books, but for me this one fell short because of the interaction between the two characters. So I will recommend this for the Action, the Vampire, the hot sex and seeing Daniel get cut into. Mwahahah. Er sorry slipped out. (less)
John Jones/Aidan Whittaker is on a negotiation mission, his plans begin to be derailed by Babcock who is sticking his nose where it could cause trouble. Scott just wants to take pictures… and get in the hot archaeologists bed, but he gets more trouble when his boss Babcock arranges a meeting with a local tribal leader.
This is an interesting combination of settings, you have the first part of the book set in Tajikistan near the Afghanistan boarder which is dry, dusty, dangerous and fraught with tension then in the second part of the book you have the quaint village of Avebury, Wiltshire in England which is green, lush, quiet and fraught with murderous stories of the long dead.
In the first part we have John Jones MI6 Negotiator who is trying to broker a deal with some of the tribal leaders, his cover is that of an archaeologist, complications set in when a reporter turns up sticking his nose in where it’s not wanted and his photographer who John feels an instant attraction to, there is danger, a recuse mission, hot sex, a parting of ways and a gun-fire fight which ends with John’s life hanging in the balance.
In the second part we have Scott Landon Photographer who has been affected more than he thought over what happened to John, he starts to investigate when he realises that all may not be as it seems and it leads to the discovery of Aidan Whittaker expert of Ancient Languages and Literature and an archaeologist. From then on we see Scott’s pursuit of Aidan as he tries to become friends and something more.
This is a brilliantly woven story about two men who get their wires crossed, both of them thinking the other doesn’t want them when they both actually want the same thing. We see Scott trying to get through to Aidan that he wants more than just quick sex, while Aidan thinks that Scott couldn’t want an older man with a damaged leg who just wants to settle down in the little village he found.
So this is a great book that has a little of everything for everyone, danger, tension, hot sex, gun-fights, slow romance, quaint setting, local hauntings and nosy villages... oh and keep an eye out for the cat TBC (That Bloody Cat) that does battle with Aiden every chance he gets. I highly recommend this one, so get this book, read it and enjoy. (less)
This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Jubilee and Kieran are dragged into an undercover operation when Dillon (Sheriff of Lone Trail) is murdered; it leads them to a child sex trafficking ring. They discover a link to a cult and set out to trap the leader, but there are problems closer to home when they discover someone trying to recruit Pauline (Jubilee’s sister) and her sons for the cult, and someone else gives Jubilee’s nephew’s drugs and Sunny (Darlene’s husband) is brutally attacked in a gay bashing. Can Jubilee and Kieran solve all their new problems and keep their relationship going?
This story is a great addition to the Orgasmic Texas Dawn series. We left off the last book with a desperate late night visit from Dillon’s wife, Elsie, and we now find out exactly what happened. Jubilee and Kieran have a very passionate relationship and they finally decide just what is most important to both of them, and what they both want. This story is filled with all sorts of complications as Jubilee investigates Dillon’s murder; it leads them to Kieran going undercover as the cat houses new owner.
We are joined by characters from previous books in the way of Sunny and Earl; we have some new characters joining us and some hair-raising circumstances. Jubilee’s and Kieran’s relationship is strong, even if they have had to hide it, and we see how it progresses further and the realization they both come to and the decisions they make. The characters are strong and the written is good, the storyline moves very fast and there is a lot going on, so much so that you do have to suspend reality a little, but we do get some quality naked time with Kieran and Jubilee (although Jubilee really should destroy his phone lol).
I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to the rest of the series, being able to see how Kieran’s and Jubilee’s relationship progresses and deepens is great, the new addition to the family should make things interesting and fresh. I will admit to being sad to see some of the characters gone as I really did like them, and I honestly think that Darlene needs a psych evaluation because she is clearly insane and doesn’t live in the real world.
I will recommend this to those that love cowboys, crime, strong characters, hot sex, surprising turns and a brilliant happy ending. (less)
Diego decides to go for broke with his roommate Beck; he has been in love with the man for years and now is the time to do something about it, and it is the best night of his life. But having to escape from thugs the next morning, carrying a package that Beck won’t talk about, makes Diego believe the worse and Diego swears to get Beck free of whatever underworld trap he has fallen into. Beck has wanted to tell Diego the truth for years, but was ordered not to, now Diego is loose with a Louisville Slugger believing he is rescuing Beck and their friend Denise. Beck has to bring Diego into the murky paranormal world he lives in, and just hope that Diego can forgive him.
This book opens with a hot, hot, hot scene, and then before long we are thrown head long into a chase across rooftops and down back allies. Diego dragged himself away from a life where danger was at every turn, losing his brother to a drug lord made him determined to live a good life and he has. But just when he and Beck confess their feelings and spend an explosive night together, a mystery package is delivered and some thugs come after Beck. Now Diego has a choice to make and it becomes even harder when he learns the truth about Beck’s job, and what really happened to his brother.
I give you all full warning, the first chapter is soooooo hot that you will need a fan to cool yourselves off, wooohooo it’s steamy and passionate with some slight kink that will get your motor revving. Throughout the rest of the book its action, secrets uncovered and soul-searching, and having to decide what is best for all. I have got to say that Lexi Ander has written a paranormal story where you just don’t know where it’s heading, and it’s a joy to find out. Beck and Diego are well suited, especially in the bedroom *wink*, and they are great friends, but trust is very important to Diego, and he has to work through his reaction to Beck’s secret.
Diego is actually more than he seems, but you don’t quite know what it all means, his abuela has kept things hidden from Diego, even while feeding him tidbits of information in the way of stories. Beck has kept his real job a secret from Diego to keep him safe, he has always wanted to be truthful to his best friend and the man he loves, and now he has the chance he could have lost Diego because trust is such an important thing. These two men are hot together that there is no doubt about, the storyline is brilliant and well written, and the plot looks to be far-reaching.
I have to recommend this if you love secret organisations, hot sex, secret kinks, great characters, a great storyline with a happy ending and the promise of more to come. (less)
Lark has no choice but to leave his partner behind when his partner got captured, he has lived with the guilt for six months but he tried everything he could to get his partner out, now six months later Derek is his prisoner and Lark tries to get Derek to face the truth. Derek doesn’t know what to believe but he knows that he has to try and resist the man he loves and escape out of the hellhole he is in.
This book is well written and is extremely intense from the beginning till the end. Lark knows the truth of what really happened six months ago while Derek believes what he has been told by the Intergalactic Investigation Bureau now they are face to face and both men are bitter and angry and it is directed at each other. This is a very emotional explicit story as we see both men struggle with their feelings of anger, betrayal and guilt for different reasons.
There are unexpectedly numerous explicit, erotic sex scenes which have a BDSM kink but nothing really heavy. All the scenes are intense as we progress through the book and we get an overview of what happened to separate the two men in the first place and we see the progression of the relationship as they admit their feelings to each other but it isn’t an easy ride for either men as they try to sort out their doubts, escape and to admit that they had both changed since they last saw each other.
The storyline is good and I really can’t wait for the next book in the series as I really want to see how the plot will unfold, we get the beginning in this book as Derek finally realises just where the betrayal came from and Lark knows beyond a doubt that he was left on Lancarina in deep cover to die, now with both men back together anything is possible ;-). We also have some dark areas where torture and rape are alluded to and the brutal treatment that Derek suffered and Lark had to dish out while undercover are spoken or thought of.
I have to recommend this one to those who love science fiction, brutal worlds, deep betrayal, lies, truth, really hot erotic sex, two men looking for the truth and a happy ending. (less)
Ah, I love mysteries and this one was no different, a pure joy to read. Corey is on vacation cruise with his family for his mother’s birthday but as the ship pulls away from the docks he has a vision of an explosion and so begins a mystery that follows him across the sea.
This is a well written storyline with a good plot that doesn’t keep you hanging for too long. Corey is still suffering mentally from what happened to him in Murder at the Green Lantern and decides to just go with it on this vacation. With the encouragement of his sisters he hooks up with dancer Raul while trying to help solve the mystery of who the terrorists are.
I really liked Corey in this story and I will hold my hands up and admit that I didn’t read Murder at the Green Lantern because I didn’t like Corey in Breathless but now I have to go and read it… gggrrr. I have to say that it was great to see Corey with his family and his romance with Raul was hot. The mystery was good and although I did guess who the bomber was, I really liked the twist that emerged.
So I would recommend this for those who love mystery, danger, hot sex and the paranormal but don’t expect everything to smell of roses.(less)
This is a very good action story, with a touch of mystery and betrayal thrown in. Vance leads his own team in Conleth’s organisation as well as being a FBI agent, he has a childhood that has led him to build walls around his heart and no woman will gain his trust… until Ginna walks into his life and her son Theo worms his way into Vance’s heart. Ginna doesn’t approve of all of Vance’s methods but she can see the damaged heart he protects and somehow she manages to gain his trust.
Okay for those of you who prefer (like me) just M/M then this book will be a bit of a let-down, the only reason I read it in the end was because it was a part of a series that I was enjoying, and lucky for me there was no yucky girly bits and I did get to see both couples Conleth and Bain and also Roger and Rico. I will also say this… the storyline was great, taking us along through the earlier parts of Vance’s life and then onto missions that he did for the ‘Old Man’ leading in the end to a betrayal from someone he thought was a friend. This story has really been mislabelled when it is called a romance it is more like the action, mystery stories where the hero gets his woman in the end, there’s no true romance and if Ginna hadn’t of had a son then Vance would never have had anything to do with her.
My rating is solely for the action, mystery storyline because that in the end was what made me read this book, I really enjoyed the previous stories in this series and being completely honest I would never have bought it if had read the blurb, but I bought it on blind faith because it was part of an M/M series by an M/M author… and yes while there are a couple of M/M scenes involving the couples from the previous books this is in essence an action, adventure, mystery story that falls very heavily on the M/F angle.
So if you are an M/M fan who can accept that there is an M/F storyline but with some M/M thrown in, some great action in the form of foiling assassins, foiling bomb plots, destroying paedophile rings, taking out a mole and drug cartel and a damaged man opening up tentatively then this is the book for you. This book is part of a series and must be read in order This is a two story book, Life After Death & Hysteria. Roan is being dragged kicking and screaming back to life a year after Paris died, he doesn’t want to live without his Paris but none of their friends will let him slip away like he wants to. The grief is killing him and he has dreams or hallucinations of Paris. As he starts to live again he comes to realise how much he leaned on Paris and had his support. He also starts to learn some truths about himself. Roan does have a new love interest in this book but he doesn’t know if he will ever get over Paris.
Roan's grief is palpable and I will be honest I sobbed my heart out at the end of the last book when Paris died, Roan's friend's are there for him making sure he lives during the year that he loses himself to grief and it's only when he takes on a case again that he starts to live again, the way this book has been written is brilliant although because of the pace I kept losing the time line, as Roan just seems to do so much in a short amount of time.
This is not a nice were-cat story. This is a story that take’s you away from the nice safe shifter stories that we are used to. This is the opposite side of the spectrum, this shows it as being a disease, where you can be infected through blood and unsafe sex, where you don’t have a choice when you change, you are fixed to a cycle which has nothing to do with the moon, where it’s bloody and painful to change and you don’t know what you do in your cat form and the worse thing of all is as the virus takes its toll on your body and you will die young. Roan is an exception to this rule; he was born infected the only one that they know of that has survived and they don’t know why he was not affected as other born infected had been.
There are no sex scenes in this book just like the previous two; its inferred sex takes place. My recommendation is this… read this book, it’s not a happy cheerful book it’s more gritty and realistic and it draws you into the story line and makes you keep reading. P.S. if you haven’t read the previous two go and get them because this entire series is brilliant. (less)
This book is part of a series and MUST be read in order. Roan is back and he knows that his control on his lion is slipping. It is getting harder and harder to ignore the need for bloodshed and it doesn’t help matters when infecteds become targets yet again. Holden gets in more trouble than he can handle, but payback is a bitch. Dylan is struggling to get Roan to admit to everything that is happening to him and it puts a bigger strain on their relationship. But, Roan is not just fighting for his life; he is fighting for his very Identity.
I love this series and the way it seems to grow and the characters become more involved in a world that seems to becoming more out of control. Roan and Dylan love each other, but Roan doesn’t want Dylan seeing him at his most brutal. He has Holden for that now, he needs Dylan not to be tainted by his lion side as Dylan is (as far as Roan is concerned) the only thing that is keeping Roan human. In the midst of him fighting the battle to stay human, there is a new drug designed to kill Infecteds and someone is hunting the Infecteds when they are in cat form.
For those of you not familiar with the Infected series I advise you to go and pick up the first book before even trying to read any others, especially this one. There really isn’t much that can be said about this book except bloody hell! Lesser Evil is a story that is as brutal as those that came before it but more despairing, because it forces Roan into a situation that he doesn’t want to be in, and forces him to do things he doesn’t want to do. it also makes him face just how different he is from the other Infecteds and how much humans hate them. Roan and Holden are characters that appeal to your darker side, while the hockey players and Dylan appeal to the fun, happy, more normal side of you.
This book is for those who want a true realistic side of shifters, the brutal, painful changes, and the hate from humans, the self-hate and the primal need of the beast. The push and pull of someone who loves an Infected, like Dylan, who is trying to make Roan share all of himself or the easy acceptance from the crazies (lol) like Hawk, Tank and Scott (hockey players) and Holden, especially Holden, who can easily accept the cold bloodiness of Roan’s Lion. Holden, we see a lot of in this book and we also see his confusion as he finds himself in some kind of ‘relationship’ with someone else who is close to Roan. This book also ends with a huge cliff-hanger, will Roan make it back?
This book I recommend to those who want the dark, brutal side of shifters, where being an Infected is a death sentence, and having friends is a blessing and having someone who loves you is a miracle that feels like a curse.(less)
This book is part of a series and must be read in order. Tristan is left reeling with questions after the confrontation with the Goddess Ki, discovering more secrets and lies from his brother and unable to trust any of the council. Now he has to focus on protecting his consort, Ushna, and his tribe and to learn who he can trust, he also has to learn what he can about just who is out to assassinate him and how to harness his new powers.
This story continues from where Twin Flames ended and oh my god it was brilliant! Tristan has so much dumped on his plate in this story; I am surprised his head didn’t explode. Wow okay where to begin hmmm… Tristan is inadvertently hurt by the Goddess Ki when she is supposed to help him, so Tristan’s trust in her is gone, but he needs her help and gives her another chance which she again inadvertently breaks, so, well Tristan’s reaction is expected. Ushna and Tristan have an important decision to make (and that’s where Ki screwed up again), they have mysteries that come to light and Tristan discovers the truth about his family… oh his ranch gets invaded by a murderer and his followers and Tristan really does come into his own.
There really isn’t that much that I can tell you about this story without giving away the really good bits, and I don’t want to do that… well I do but I am not that mean ;-) Ushna is again an incredible man, Tristan still doubts himself a bit, the warriors prove themselves in battle, they all discover new information and secrets, the Gods and Goddess’s begin to play their parts and all the other character play their parts brilliantly. There’s a surprise for Tristan, left to him by his betraying Twin Flame and it really peeves Tristan off. The ending for this book is one that will make you want to cry… because you want the next book in your hands.
This story is wonderful, it flows brilliantly and it pulls you in, making you turn the next page wanting more of this incredible series… it leaves you hungering for more, making you wish it was longer. It is filled with descriptions that take you there… makes you envisage that you are standing there as the enemy charge towards you, has your heart pounding along with Tristan’s as he fights the urge to make Ushna his in every way and makes your throat tight as Tristan realises that his life is changed forever. God damn but I love this series… so unique and refreshing; I really can’t wait for the next book.
I have to recommend this to those who love unique shifters, secrets, battles, danger, a huge surprise, incredibly hot sex and an ending that leaves you wanting more… right now!(less)
I really enjoyed this one, it was a refreshing change to read a shifter book that wasn’t all about sex and mates; although there is a lot hot sex and some discussion about mating.
Rob is horrified when he finds out that Jamie is a Wolf. He has nothing against them personally but he wouldn’t have sex with one…if he had a choice. Jamie doesn’t usually sleep with humans but there is just something about Rob. When Rob kicks him to the curb, Jamie realizes what has happened too late.
I thought the way that Rob handled everything was masterful, Jamie was headstrong and willful the supporting characters were incredible, too. They really added to the story. The story line is fantastic and written really well. Hopefully, this is opening up a new avenue in shifter stories where we have more realistic story lines and a different aspect to the ‘mating’ rules.
If you love shifter stories, hot men and crime stories then this is for you. Diane Adams & R.J. Scott, I can’t wait for the next one.(less)
This is slightly different from what I am used to from R.J. Scott but it is no less impressive. Dale may be an ex-Navy Seal but a horrific incident in his past has jaded him to the Seals and he has no faith in them. Joseph is an active Navy Seal and he wants to find his sisters killer but when he finds brick walls thrown up in his way he is determined to get to the truth even if he has to tear them down with his bare hands.
Well this is a slightly gritty more brutal story than the last one and all I can say is that Dale and Joseph have a more un-traditional connection than the normal romance that we are used to. Joseph wants justice for his sister but Dale doubts that is all he wants, Dale is convinced that Joseph will go in guns blazing to kill the one who ordered the hit on his sister, Joseph just wants the man who did order the hit to pay for it through the courts so his mother and step-father can have some peace.
Dale and Joseph are both strong confident men who have both got careers that they love. The connection between them is hard to see at first because of Dale’s attitude toward Joseph, but you get a feel for both of them and once Dale accepts Joseph is not one step away from a bloodbath his longing for the other man comes through. We get to see past characters of Morgan and Nik as they are still trying to bring down the Bullen’s and Joseph tracks them down trying to find answers.
This isn’t a traditional relationship… they are not going to buy a little house with a picket fence, Joseph is going to still be gone a lot but Dale will be his port in the storm, this is a beginning for them and I don’t know why but I think that they still have another story in them.
So I will recommend this to those who love danger, explosive car chases, hot sex, total alpha men, bloody rescues and a happy (for these men) ending.
