Rose since I discovered him via Twitter. He is a very talented science fiction and speculative fiction writer. And he does not disappoint with his newest release, CHRYSOPTERON. The story follows a generation ship making its way to a new planet. The journey takes many centuries and the experiences on the Chrysopteron shape the settlers in a way that is both intriguing and a bit frightening. This is an epic journey that Rose pens with ease. He masterfully weaves the story and the reader never feels bogged down or inundated with unnecessary information. He tells a tale over hundreds of years and does so beautifully. This is a story of hope, adventure, love and friendship. I think any science fiction fan will be pleased with this novel....more

Needless to say, her talent shines through in her memoir as well. I have followed her blog, reading each installment the day it is posted. I feel I know the characters, Bigmama and Bigdaddy are life-like and their personalities shine through the words. There are funny moments, like when young Billie Sue was almost eaten my turkeys, heartbreaking moments, the grisly murder of her aunt and uncle, and terrifying moments, like when Billie's Mama left her and her little brother alone for three days with only $20. I could see that little girl, curled into a ball with a butcher knife clutched in her hand, and I was scared for her. This is the talent of Billie Sue Mosiman.
The memoir shows what truly shaped Billie Sue Mosiman into the woman and writer she is today. She was a curious child, wondering what made people tick, what drove people to do the things they did. And this came out in her writing. If you are a writer, read the latest installment on her blog--the chapter entitled THE MAKING OF A WRITER. I think all writers should be able to relate, and maybe find a little inspiration there, too.
Thank you for sharing your life with your readers, Ms. Mosiman. Well done....more

He is a very talented writer, a great story-teller. Three on a Match is a great first release for Craig.
This collection contains three stories: The Tape, Yesterday, and The Curse. Yesterday is my personal favorite. You can feel the tension of the main character oozing off the virtual pages. The police report adds a little something to the tale. And I love the ending. The Curse is a wonderful piece of flash fiction. A different view on the vampire genre. The Tape is a thrilling read as well. I love the use of the newspaper article to tie everything together.
Again, great introduction to a new author. Looking forward to more releases by Craig Wessel....more

It was nice seeing a new twist on werewolves and lyncanthropes. I liked the idea that this was something known and dealt with on a regular basis, not closeted and secretive. I found that very creative.
Jaime Johnesee is a very talented writer. I hope to see more work from her in the future. And I definitely want to read more about Sam Reece. Great job!...more

Not only is this a different version of zombies, but it is so well written you cannot put it down. Ms. Mosiman is an extremely talented writer and her take on the zombie lore is unique and refreshing. Having a strong female lead also added to the tale. I highly recommend this for zombie fans, scifi fans and, of course, Billie Sue Mosiman fans. An overall fantastic read....more
