Well first of all I will tell you what Pretty Little Liars is about… The title says it all, they're Pretty Little girls who are Liars. When Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna's best friend, Alison DiLuarentis, went missing. The girls all shared secrets with her and she held them against them. Now with Ali gone the girls are still little liars, aria is dating her English teacher, Spencer stole her sisters boyfriend, Emily thinks she might enjoy a little fun with girls and Hanna has done some terrible things to stay beautiful. Now there is a stocker named A out to tell all of there secrets.
Duh duh duh, even the back just draws you in like, who is A? Is it there dead friend Ali? What will happen to the girls? And what other juicy secrets are they not telling. When I first saw this series I knew I just had to read it. Soon I tore my way through the book and finished it in awe! It blew me away and took me on an adventure that was far from over. You could just tell that Sara Shepard, the author, had so much in store for you and was going to be a favourite! I gave this book a 5 out of 5 star review and couldn't wait to pick up the next book! I rated this book a high review because I thought it had everything, suspense, drama, some juicy romance and best of all some mystery. I would defiantly recommend this book to about everyone and just saying, once you start the book, you won't be able to stop(less)

At points I was crying, smiling, laughing and my heart was beating so fast and hard I thought it was going to pop out of my body! Sam and Grace where the perfect characters and the boom was just so thrilling! I loved this book so much every time someone says it or I talk about it my heart swells up. Maggie Stiefvater is an amazing author and has her story stuck in my head! I can't wait to read more of her and since I have finished the wolves of mecery falls series and can't wait to read more. I would sternly recommend this book to everyone! (less)

Blood Red Road is a book about an eighteen year old girl named Saba, who lives with her Pa, twin brother, Lugh and little sister, Emmi. Oh and there pet crow, Nero.
One day the soldiers, or there proper names, Ton Tons, come to Saba's home and take Lugh. In a chance to save him, their father jumps out when the Ton Tons shoot him. Saba then sets out to save Lugh and bring him back to them once again.
Miles away, Saba drops Emmi off at an old friends house. On her way, she gets to Hope town goes on numerous adventures to find her brother and return home, hopefully alive.
I do think Blood Red Road was an AMAZING book. I loved the whole plot lines with many interesting twists, with the one I love, when she gets a heart stone which leads her to her brother, her greatest desire but instead, when she gets put into cage fighting she meets a boy named Jack who makes her heart stone burn into her skin adn he makes my heart melt. (Not as much as other male book characters but...) Any I do have to say I love the way that Blood Red Road was written with the improper grammer and just the way Moria Young, well how her writing speaks to the reading. She has done a very good job with the style and way the book is and how to grab a reader in.
I'm not sure what I didn't like about this book. There was just something. I mean the writing and everything was amzing and awesome as I said but I don't know. This book was that and all but wasn't a 5 star book for me. I guess if I would change one thing it would be that I think the author could have shown a bit more love and bond between Saba and Lugh because I mean you could see that Saba loved her brother and cared for him so much but when I was halfway through the book it got a bit side-tracked by so many other events and I was wondering if she was even going to find Lugh in this book.
I would give Blood Red Road by Moria Young a 4/5 stars. As I just said it was an fantastic book and one that will be remembered for a long time. Also I think since the book was read to me it didn't have that BAM! feeling when something huge happens because I wasn't reading it myself. So I didn't think that the book was as effective to me as it would have been if I read it myself. Other then those small things, Blood Red Road was a great read and I'm excited to see how the story continues on in the sequel, Rebel Hearts, in 2012.
Blood Red Road is a definate read. A high averaged rated book and will be loved and is loved by many. I would recommend this book to people who love adventure, romance (not that much), Dystopian, Sci-Fi, etc. (less)
