I understand that it's a YA book but the dialogue is artificial and awkward, and it desperately needs a good editor... There were spelling and grammar errors throughout that I found very distracting; I had the urge to take a red pen to it. Also, The characters are painfully one dimensional.

I really wanted to like this book. I like the concept and the plot ideas are great, and the author is local. I tried. It's remarkable that I managed to finish it....more
