So proud of my friend Cindi Madsen's sweet, fall in love with your best friend, romantic comedy! I've not stopped laughing or smiling yet. I know this author delivers on the romance in all her other work, but with this story she's in her element with humor, a sassy heroine while painting a hot hero. I'm looking forward to the first kiss very much... (less)

As for this one, please add it to your 'TO READ' lists if you like 'Beauty and the Beast', castles, revenge and romance type stories, then you will love Trust In Me.
This book is about a man (Nicholas--a very good looking and pissed off man) who's found his brother's body laid at his front door. The brother is not dead, but he is almost dead...and that's good enough to seek out someone to pay for this misdeed. He goes off to the enemy keep ready to kill but ends up coming home with a woman, worse a BRIDE, who's offered herself in place of the sick, old man he was supposed to battle for vengeance. Nicholas, in addition to suddenly finding himself with a bride, finds he now must hide a huge secret from the woman he's sworn never to love.
Elizabeth is the heroine. She's kind, sweet, but sadly very guilty in the part she did play in leaving Nicholas's brother at the gate. But all is not as it seems and she is hiding some secrets of her own. And now that she's married to Nicholas, she tries to make things right. She wants to turn over a new leaf, make the best of it...but Nicholas wants nothing do to with her...or does he?
I'd say more, but then it would spoil the sweet stuff, and this author is all about the sweet stuff. It's very romantic, the supporting cast of characters will charm you and make you laugh. There are some great love scenes in this book, but it is for adults--not extreme or anything--but adult to be sure.
If you have a friend that's into medieval romances and you want to buy a gift, the hard copy version of this book and this cover is simply beautiful, inside and out. (And not simply because the guy is hot. This thing is nice down to the fonts and care that has been taken on every page). I've had the pleasure of reading advance work of Lana's for years now, and I can say there are few writers so dedicated to craft, and to historical writing than this author. She never disappoints, and her lyrical soft voice will carry you into a dream and romance and stick with you long after the last page is turned.(less)

Act Like you Love me is killing me because I want to turn one more page ONLY, and then an hour is gone.
Just like Falling for My Fiancé, this book is amazing with tension, hopes, and heart twists as you cheer for the couple to work it out...shout out to Cindi Madsen for making me laugh and fall in love all over again! Brynn and her situation is so funny. I mean, we've all had that crush from high school--the one you wish you could see again--OR NOT...or run from OR lie to, because what if he remembered how you used to be? Hah. In this book, I know also Brynn will get have the happy ending most of us did not have during our high school crush times. If my crush could see me now, he'd say...'yep, still a disaster'. Brynn gets to come back with the winning chips. At least on the outside, and that's where the humor spikes. As an actress she's great holding up her mask but inside, like we all are, she's not so sure. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
Sawyer is awesome, distant, sexy handsome but so attracted to Brynn despite her antics. Love how Cindi's tales just flow so fast, how they are full of great kisses but clean and fade to black so I can pass this one on to my teen daughter next. I end up cracking up and thinking about my own 'what if scenarios' after the chapters are done. I will report at the end...but I'll just say it now. I'm already in love... another Kindle keeper for me.(less)
