A perfect bed-time story for little ones to dream on This author got the idea for this book when her husband was serving in the Gulf War, writing it for her daughters, Jennifer and Jes.sica.
I really like the sweet storyline about the adorable bee and the loving relationships she formed with butterflies, flowers and the benevolent moon. I read this charming, feel-good book to my great-granddaughter and her eyes were big as saucers from beginning to end. She giggled and smiled as the little honeybee flew from one kindness to another.
The illustrations are cheerful and bright, helping tell the story to perfection, and the cover is awesome, making the book pop off the shelf.
I am looking forward to more stories by Deborah Kerner... and so is my little one. ...more

This book is a sleeper; one that gets overlooked somehow, but is as exciting as any action book on the market. The author was a real-life bounty hunter and the best in the business. His tales of dangerous pick-ups he and his Pearl Street Posse went on kept me on the edge of my seat. Couldn't wait to see how each adventure ended. Darkside was the author's street name and, though honorable and honest, he was tough as nails when doing his job. His crew was interesting too; with names like Crazy Horse, Face, Ghost, etc. they were the perfect complement to the success of their captures. Their teamwork was amazing.
Since this was written in narrative style, the author told, not showed. Thus his descriptions, while exciting, were not as vivid as current books on the market... much less dramatic. But I must repeat that he kept me on the edge of my seat; not bad for narrative. As for reading experiences, this is a five-star book. However, I deducted one point due to some grammatical errors. Even at that, it is well-written, chronological and the pace is masterful.. My black cowgirl hat is tipped to Rayvyn Knight (real name Paul "Rick" Bounds) for telling his true, slightly dramatized, story with passion and heavy doses of humor. Highly recommended. ...more

I've always enjoyed reading about time-travel and the wonderful adventures the characters have in other times and places.
Clockwise is one of the best I have read: The characters are realistic, the plot logical, the pacing nearly perfect. I marvel at the research the authors must have done to keep the various times true to their era while creating realistic settings, clothing, etc. true to their individual times.

It seems they were betrayed by almost everyone who should be helping them. Each h person had their reasons, flawed as those reasons were. This is a gripping story; one of the best love stories I have read in a, long while. .

This is an incredible piece of writing... with so many twists and turns it made my head spin. I couldn't read fast enough to satisfy my sense of adventure. A real thrill a minute.
I loved the main characters... and even the minor ones who got involved in this diabolical plot. The evil characters didn't care who they hurt which made me fear for everyone. They put the Pawnbroker and everyone around him in dire jeopardy.
The trouble starts when the Pawnbroker shoots and kills a man withdraws a gun on him, intent on robbing him... or so it appears. The sheriff trumps up murder charges against him because they think he has something they want. Turns out the robber was a cop.
Why was a cop in the pawn shop with a drawn gun then? Why is the county sheriff so cruel and vindictive? What is wrong with all the officers? What is it they think the pawnbroker has and why is it so important?
Why is he forced to hire a big-shot attorney from a neighboring town? How does the attorney's female investigator turn out to be his best friend? And when his wife suddenly changes, what is wrong with her? What is he forced to do to her?
This unique plot involves so many interesting, good and evil characters, the questions will come to you hot and heavy... just as I present them in this review. You will die to know the answers, but never fear; this prolific author takes you on a wild ride as he leaves no loose ends as he deftly takes you to a more than satisfying ending.
I am in awe of author Jerry Hatchett and can't wait to read more of his works.

I tried of the market flooded with vampire books, so had not read one in ages. But this one attracted me and quickly lured me into the lives of these likable, believable characters.
I eagerly followed the complex Vampire-versus-Chasers plot, and quickly got involved in the blossoming romance between opposites who are sworn enemies. Maggie and Shane, their friends and siblings are so well-written they seemed like people I know. I cared what happens to them.
Can't wait to read the next book in this twisting, turning story to learn what happens to all of them.
Highly recommended for all ages.

This is not a true review that me because it is much shorter than my usual. But the author is open to just a "few words" and that's all I have time for. I can say this is an intriguing book that held my interest throughout. The characters are very real bbc.co to me and I liked the main ones and rooted for them. The villains were truly wicked, also bringing out the reader's emotions. Douglas Richards is a huge talent that I highly recommend. I look forward to his sequel as I want to know more about David and Mira... the Colonel and all.
