(as always) Halfway reading of this book i was about to give this a 2star but eventually weighing it between 2stars to 3 stars. Its like my made up stories when i daydream when i was a kid (Kidding ofcourse) in short it was sometimes too good to be true or too bad to be true? Or maybe just slightly predictable. Plus I just hate the roller coaster of good and bad events in here. For me its too much and its really from on top then pulls you down and then pulls you up then pulls you back down again. And when i was about to console myself that it was over, another trouble or problem or whatver comes into view within the lines of the book. I seriously had to stop reading for a while and roll my eyes or pull my hair while reading. And whats up with the letters. Its fine for a while, i love the letters but then later on i was thinking oh boy was it getting too much? It'll all start because of a letter.! But it sure did help express their feelings which i think is good on the other end. Moreover, thank goodness cassie didnt die with that surgery. I know she'll make it but deep down, a feeling is creeping up on me that she might die. I swear i'd probably throw my phone out (where i was readin) when that happens. But as i finished the book i decided to give this a 3star and a thumbs up coz who doesnt like happy endings right? As much as i like unique stories i do love happy endings and the ending makes me feel giddy. Still nothing beats the happilly ever after...more

It should have been my way to lull myself to sleep last night but instead it ended up being the reason why I was kept awake all night. And maybe I could have finished it in one sitting if I didn't contain myself to stop because i really needed sleep to function at work the next day. That was how i felt like while reading Flipped. I was eager and so excited by the pace and the the way the story goes. It was a light read and I love how it was well written and humorously done. I smiled, laughed and even cried over it. ( maybe just teary-eyed xD) I'm always in love with multiple POVs so that adds up why i love this book.
I almost make a fuss about the ending though. I was shocked that it actually ended where i thought there could be a lot more beyond that last parts. But after reading questions and answers from the author itself, i understand that there could be no other suitable ending like what Wendelin has created. Nicely done.
I heard there's a film about this book and i'm off to watch it now. Where in the world am i in that i didn't know this existed.. chiao.....more

LOL but seriously, it really pull some heartstrings in me. And i'm really weak and easily-get-emotional when it comes to father-son/daughter issues or any family issues for that matter. Thumbs up and a must-read. :D...more
