So here's the thing, i'm not complaining about the characters here. All were real and i even love the fact that Eddie was a total bitch sometimes. Milo was okay, a very good guy. The whole story though was.. i don't know, a bit heavy i guess? or not. i don't know how to label it right but talking about grief and death, it feels sad and negative.
The mystery messages from Eddie's dad is what keeps me going so when it ended like that, i feel like i wasted my time for nothing. It doesn't solved any questions i have, so i was like: what's the point of the story??? It pushed away the other star i should have given to this. And what the heck is wrong with her hand? i still don't get it.
It may not be that bad for others, besides i even got to finish the book smoothly right? It's just leaves me empty and confused with those latter parts. Maybe i'm missing the point of this book but oh well 1 star it is.(less)

This book may have been reviewed frequently because it's so loved by many but as long as this book exist, I know its never to late to give opinions, right?
This book is awesome. I can’t remember how many times I muttered to myself “OhmyGod” while reading this. There's so many unexpected twist that sometimes, my ‘what ifs’ are slowly creeping up on me. What if she ended up with Gale? What if Peeta dies? What if she dies in combat? What if it will be a tragic story? Suzanne Collins imagination is really hard to predict. I also loved how she delivers humorous remarks all of a sudden, on certain moments when you least expect it the most. When I got really excited, i had to stop and close the book for a while to stop myself from scanning the story (yeah, just scanning and not entirely reading) to get a glimpse of what will happen next. LOL
From the first book to the second, I’m loyally rooting for Peeta. The way Suzanne Collins made him is so lovable. But as I read this book, I found myself unconsciously rooting either for Gale or Peeta. Most of the time, I’m still for Peeta but you can’t help thinking about how sweet is Gale and all. And like what a waste to loose this guy.
Though there's a part here that i feel i'm send to another dimension in the story because for me it's so fast forwarded, i still adapted and absorbed the story in time. And when I’m a just a few pages to the end of the story, I’m getting worried. I’m thinking why it’s as if everything is still not in its place. At the back of my head I'm sensing this could not be a happy ending. Then after finishing this, at first, i don't know if i'm happy with it or not. They surely ended up together but the way things go made my heart sank. i feel sad but after awhile realized this is also what adds charm to this book. There is no 360 degrees change of story to have a happy ending. No pretensions and just so.. real. i'm not saying happy endings are not real. Its just.. mmmm....yeah.. you get my point right? please understand. bwahaha
This trilogy is one of my favorites now just like thousands of teenagers =P. A must read book. (less)

This book is quite making a buzz everywhere so I instantly got interested. But when I looked it up on goodreads, I became hesitant to read it or not because the reviews on this book were inconsistent. It’s like either you love it or don’t like it at all. However, a friend of mine insisted me to try the book so that’s why I ended up writing this review.
This is about a girl falling in love with a hot and rich man which turned out to be a sex addict. *oops. I might get bashed so let me rephrase my word …..turned out that he’s incapable of love commitment so what he do (and I quote) ‘fuck’ the girl his interested in (fuck is the word and not make love according to him) And the strange thing is there’s a contract about the rules on what to do during their you-know-what, as well as their situation.
First chapters of the book, I find myself getting hooked. Who won’t? Christian Grey is hot and rich, extremely rich. He knew how to melt a girl by his word and drive her crazy. As much as I like him on the first chapters, I started to dislike his character on middle parts. His attitude and likes are just so weird and I started to hate him even for acting such a pervert. However, I still forgave him at the latter parts because you can see that he still has the tender heart. What left me hanging is to know his past that led him to behave like that.
On the other hand, there is Ana/Anastasia, who was the [and I quote again] ‘sex slave’. (Don’t blame Grey, she do loves to be one. haha) I don’t like her character but I don’t actually hate her.(maybe sometimes, and bigtime) I hate her thoughts though, how she always pertains to her inner goddess and subconscious. Frankly, it was ridiculous. Well, my inner goddess really hates it. LOL
To be honest, I don’t know how to rate this one. I tried to be oblivious about the sex thing apart from the plot of the story so I can rate it from there, but who am I kidding, it was almost all about that; being the dominion and submissive etc. I’m not trying to be too innocent or conservative here and definitely I’m not against sex in a story. I’ve read adult books that had that thing too. In fact, I also enjoy hot and steamy scenes especially if it adds spice to the story but this book had just too much of it. And it’s even over the hot and steamy side; it’s like already on the porn side. [forgive me fifty shades fans]. The funny thing is that there’s so many things I never thought it could be possible. There were scenes here that I find myself saying “what? It’s like that?” or “omg. Really?” LOL. Sometimes though, some were really strange. Like really strange. =P (just for me, I don’t know to you). I remember getting comical and odd reactions and facial expressions while reading it. It’s like if ever I see myself that time, I’m sure what-the-heck-reaction is all over my face.
I know this is kind of irrelevant to say because we all know that it’s an erotic novel but I cannot agree more when I’ve read Andrew O’hagan wrote “But it’s so much sexier when people don’t have sex on the page.”
This book was just okay for me. Just so-so. However, I still might grab the next book. I’m still curious about Grey. This guy is such a tease sometimes. And who knows, maybe it gets better. (less)

Meghan’s thought is sometimes too mushy for me. Reminds me (only at times) of Bella Swan. And for that I was ready to tone down my supposed to be 5-star for a 4-star rating but then …WOAH.. the ending is so good. My heart flutters wildly on Ash’s words. It is so overwhelming so I have no choice .It is highly worthy for a 5-star or even exceeds it.
Also, Puck joined their love story which is how I like it from the very first book. However, I guess it was wrong to root for this two because there’s something dull between them unlike when Meghan is with Ash. It’s more of a just-bestfriend-thing feel. Or maybe, Puck is just too reserved or gentleman I guess (he doesn’t push himself to Meghan too much) to see their story bloom. But i'll never know until i finished the whole series.:) I really love his character. There is something in him that intrigued me. I’m actually excited to read Summer's crossing to know more about him.
It is one of the books that brought a smile on my face right after I finished it and leaves it there for a while. It is a captivating book and well-written. Really. Kudos to Julie Kagawa. (less)

I like this better than ‘if I stay’. I have this feeling about ‘If I stay’ that it has no climax.(kidding. i know it has or have) But for me the real climax goes to ‘Where she went’ and this leads me to believe that If I stay is just chapters of the second book. =P Not actually BELIEVES but I just have this sort of feeling. 'If I stay' keeps you hanging that you need to read the next book right away. Anyway both are still gorgeous.
This is an interesting type of story or should I say interesting WAY of telling the story. Full of reminiscing. One moment you’re on the present, next second you’re on the past then back to present. I also love how this book is full of emotions. I easily got carried away by Adam’s emotions, how he reacts to things and how he handles it especially about Mia. I found myself smiling with him and sharing his heartbreaks and more.
Mia’s POV on the first book and Adam’s on the second. I love to see both POVs. This gives you a better understanding of the two. I got to see their insecurities to each other when there is really nothing to worry about. I fell in love with Adam’s undying affection to Mia. Oh my Gosh, Mia is SO LUCKY. I mean, it’s so rare to find someone like Adam; he’s almost the dream guy of all girls in the world. Reading on his perspective alone is just love. :) Although sometimes, while reading it on Adam’s POV, I’m dying to know what Mia thinks. Once you have gotten inside Mia’s head, it’s hard not to guess or think what is on her mind at certain moment. Like for example when they finally met each other again, I so wanted to know what Mia is up to. I’m like ‘What the heck?? What‘s on her mind exactly? ’. But of course I wouldn’t know because I’m on Adam’s.
Another good read book. Thanks to Eunice for recommending me such good books. =P and of course thumbs up for Gayle Forman for creating a wonderful book. (less)

First chapter of this book reminds me of Percy Jackson series. Mists, unusual creatures, some sort of ports to access the other world and other terms that suddenly ring a bell to my memories. You know what I mean if you already read the book. Somehow, it was also similar to Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. As pages and pages passed by, I realized it’s a whole different story. It was transformed into a brand new and modern feel to it, more suited to be a young adult book and of course more exciting and imaginative. Full of adventures and so magical.
I love all the characters. From their cute dog Beau, to Grimalkin and to Puck. Puck is so funny. I so love his character though at first, I mistakenly thought he's a villain here. And of course who will missed the main characters, Meghan and Ash. However, I thought their love story is a bit predictable. It's a bit all of a sudden as well. They didn't gradually fall with each other, instead, with just a click, they find themselves on each others arms. Oh well, who cares. It was still okay. Anyway, since I already know they have a thing for each other from the very start, it doesn't surprised me. i just wished they spent more time with each other. Also, ASDFGHJKL!! Ash is so hot and gorgeous!! You know I have a thing for handsome, arrogant but deep inside, gentle guy. And I instantly love his name. LOL It almost became my favorite name for a guy. I think Ash is a cool name. :)
I just wish I got more of their lovey dovey. I really want more. Actually I’m currently reading the next book and it’s feeding my yearning of their affection. BWAHAHA. i sounded like a stalker.

I happened to find a few Nicholas Sparks ebooks on our PC and so I started to read some. Title aside, I didn’t have the slightest idea of what it is all about. I haven’t even read a synopsis so when I learned that it’s about a married couple, I’m not so thrilled. I mean, what more lies in there if they were already committed to each other.? maybe yeah, sure there still is. Perhaps the hardships in their family? Parenthood? Which I guess will be boring. And to add the fact that Wilson and Jane are already on their fifties, I thought this may be a lame story of old people but I’m glad I kept going coz I’ll be damned if I did not. It’s actually connected to The Notebook because Jane is one of the daughters of Noah and Allie. I haven’t read the book but I saw the film and it was good. Anyway, I loved Wilson’s character. I understand his musings. And as unexpressive as I am, I find it not hard to sympathized and relate to him. I loved how he thinks and how it leads to matters. It’s like I’m being exposed to a new perspective of love. Love that is so true and so deep and eternal. Okay, I’m gonna stop this, I sounded so cheesy. eeww
There is a part in the book that I even got teary though it’s not a crying scene. I was so touched. I want to go to Nicholas Sparks and hug him for creating such great confession or declaration or whatever for Wilson. It really warmed my heart.
Although I saw what was coming at the end of the story, so I wasn’t so surprised. it didn’t end to amaze me. I don’t know how to express it. It’s like a different genre with different contentment after finishing it. It’s as if I’m showered by loads of gratification afterwards. It is so captivating and inspiring. I promised to myself to re-read this book when I’m married. :) (less)

It’s indescribable, epic, page turner, and full of awesomeness. Name it. It’s all in here. I’m so in love with ALL the characters. I like how the whole series goes. It’s just getting better and better.
It’s been a roller coaster ride of emotions here but ‘oh yeah’ it’s a wonderful ride. :) 5 star was not enough and will not give justice to this book. =P (less)

I love how the story is humorously and interestingly done. Simple conversations between the characters appeal so much to me. i find it amusing how Cath Crowley made it so real and funny.
The book used multiple POVs which the kind i will always love the most. I love knowing what both are thinking. This made me love the characters more. i also love how the characters here are not so perfect. Ed is not the perfect and whole package guy, he surely have flaws but he is funny in a way and this made me think he's almost perfect. :) like hey, what more can you wish for when he has so much talent in him, so smart and romantic. i also love Lucy's character. Full of wittiness. Although, at first, i'm a bit annoyed why she hasn't got a clue who Shadow is when he is right in front of her face. Well, i can't blame her when she had past (not so good)memories of him and that maybe clouding her mind.(i'm so sorry for the excessive use of "love". can't help it. Anyway, its hearts day tomorrow so spare me. LOL)
The part when the girls discovered Leo is Poet and Ed is Shadow, i thought Leo and Dylan reactions were a bit weird. Why did they ran away? HAHA Anyway, i still love it that way. i don't know but this part seriously cracked me up.
