I have to say I don't exactly like Jaeger as a love interest, but he seemed like a friend that Kiara really needed.
Leontes and Kiara seemed to have some history but I have a pretty good suspicion that she killed his wife. Why is he so nice to her then? I haven't worked it out. Also the flashback Kiara had of Leontes stabbing her while she was holding a baby. Surely he didn't kill a child of hers! I don't know what I would do if he did. Non crazy Kiara definitely seems to hate him, while crazy Kiara seems to really like him. What will happen when the two personalities merge?
I actually quite liked Bane, although I'm not sure why. He did seem to care for Kiara, but he also kills little girls? I am a bit conflicted.
Definitely hated Nicky and Adele. They were just biiiiiiiitches.
The book developed so well. It was exciting, hilarious, and had a few twists that I didn't guess until I was reading it. I did have a sneaking suspicion Da Vinci was alive though. But why fake his death? And I am just dying to know who this master of Kiara's is.
Cannot wait for the rest of this series to come out. Best book I've read in a long time....more
**spoiler alert** I hope that we get a book on Julius (i have a feeling he wont really die, fingers crossed), and maybe Lilith's brother.

I didn't like Janna that much at all actually. She seemed bitchy, and really rude by bringing up Liliths' abusive relationship to someone else. The final straw was towards the end when she tells Lilith about Olias. Firstly he seems like a prick. Secondly she was just a massive bitch about the whole thing.
I stayed up late to finish the book so i guess that means it was worth reading. Hopefully the second book will be a bit better, as this one seemed a bit mediocre but it definitely fueled my paranormal obsession and i liked the otherwordly ideas for this book. ...more

I usually get books where Jordan's traits and characteristics would be portrayed by the main character, but Sara is different. She isn't the typical warrior, or even that bloodthirsty but it doesn't ruin the story line at all. When I think on it, Sara has a ridiculous amount of powers but some how Lynch just makes it work. I can't wait to see what happens in the third book, and the reconciling with Madeline promises to be interesting :)
Something that I'd hoped to happen was Chris and Jordan getting together? I don't know, it seemed like it might work. Or maybe Jordan and Roland? I was a little disappointed that Nate didn't die, but it was good to see that someone did. I really hate it when nobody ever dies and life is all sunshine and rainbow for everyone. It makes for a boring book.
I have to be honest, I like Sara's fae side more that her Mori side and I hope she doesn't end up fully merging with her demon or whatever they do. I feel like that could totally ruin the book for me.
