The story was catchy and taught about wanting to belong, wanting to be found and loved, and Corduroy's adventure out in the department store amid the BIG beds. I enjoyed the soft watercolor painting and the sketch work which brought this lost, lonely teddy to life and also the little girl, who bought him.
CREATIVE EXPERIENCE: I would create a game where the class would find small bears hidden in the classroom and then each child goes around counting them. I can even expand that experience in teaching them in creating patterns with their colored teddy bear counters. (less)
