There was never a dull moment and I liked it a lot. Defiantly one of my favorites!!(less)
I have to admit, this was the least favorite book of mine. But i still loved the action and adventure going on, and of course i really liked the ending to the book. What was really great about the book is that it was straight forward, a quick read.(view spoiler)[though the parts that it got really confusing for me was the dream that Katniss had after she had got blown away by a bomb for the second time, and the poem in the epiloge. I do happen to have an exterme quarrel with Gale disappearing out of the picture after Katniss goes back to distict 12 for good. Where did he go? What happened to him? (hide spoiler)] If my favorite character was gale, then i probably wouldnt have liked the ending at all. Since that isnt the case and the fact that i absolutey love Peeta, this senario that i talked about in the above sentence doesnt exist. i also love how Suzanne Collins wrote and setup the books, I love all of them its just that my absolute favorite is Catching Fire.
(view spoiler)[ the parts that i extemely didnt like was when the Capitol beat up and hijacked Peeta. The most intense and emotional scene for me was when Peeta said "You....in Thirteen....dead by morning." then shortly after that his blod rains downon the floor. (hide spoiler)] At this piont I did imagin the part i just read, set the book down and cried. I know it probably sounds stupid to say that, but the book WAS real for me. I replayed the blood raining down on the tile, never getting out of my head. I think im tramatized... just kidding I'm perfectly sane, but that image lingered in my head for several days after I read it.
I aslo loved the Real or Not Real that everone played with Peeta, helping him by using other people as sources for Peeta to know what was real and what was the tracker jacker vemon. This eventually lead to my favorite quote in the book at the end of the book just before the epiloge. Where Peeta said "You love me. Real or Not Real?" then in reply Katniss said "Real." MY most favorit moment in the book, other than the epiloge :D

I love the world. I loved the characters. Especially Wesley Ayers. I mean, who wouldn't?? I loved the story. I loved the eerie, something's-not-quite-right atmosphere. All this drama happening in the hushed hallways of a library setting somehow felt pretty creepy. I just want more of this world that Victoria Schwab created. I want to know want happens in the next book. I hope The Unbound isn't the end. I very much wish that there is going to be another book added to this duology to make it a triology!! I highly recommend this book, and want to support the series as much as I can even going as far as getting a hardcover copy of the same book. Just do yourself a favor and pick this up!! Get The Unbound while you are at it, too! (less)
first and foremost this vampire book this something special, none of the likes of which that has ever been done before. Everyone who reads books knows that ever since Twilight came out there was a big explosion of vampire books. Eventually, my friends and I became sick of them. Bleeding Hearts was, literally, a splash of cold water in the face. It was refreshing. This is why I read books, to enjoy and cherish them as long as I can remember them.
When I signed up for the giveaway for this book, I thought that I would at the least like it. But that didn't even come close to what I felt by the end of the book. I absolutely love it It was well written, the characters were interesting and very well developed. Oh, and the storyline was amazing. I also liked how that there wasn't just vampires in general. The demivampires are something unique.that they are vampire, but they live. They have that fire within them that the evolved demivampires do not.
I have recieved this book for free through Goodreads First Reads
