It will be easy to get the students engaged and interacting with each other if the book is used during this time. We could talk about the different things seen in fall and on halloween. There are many different lesson that could be done using this book. I would definitely use this book to focus on making predictions. We could look at the title page and make predictions based on the title of the book and the picture on the front cover. I would also have the students do a text to self journal entry. (less)
