I'One Week to Score, the final book in the Tall, Dark, and Texan series gave me a chance to check off a few items on my romance writer's bucket list. I'd never done a best friend's sister story before, partly because I'd always worried that this conflict, while a delicious way to kick start a plot, can wander into predictability. After a little sneaking around and oh no, big bro can never find out about all our illicit sexytimes, readers might start to say, so what? fess up and take your punishment like the adults you are!
With Flynn and Olivia, I knew I'd have to add a few more bumps to their road to true love. How about an old friendship that was blossoming into something else before it mysteriously upended? Or an acute case of hate-lust that can only be sated with a beach resort fling ... on what should have been the heroine's honeymoon? Add in a disastrous wedding day that imploded with a little help from our hero, and it looks like Flynn's breach of the bro code is the least of his problems.
I always like a little gray in my heroes, guys who don't always do the right thing but usually do it for the right reasons. That's Flynn, whose heart (and another important part of his anatomy!) is so big that it rules his brain, leading to some pretty sketchy decisions. Sometimes things have to go a lot wrong before they can go a little right--and when it's as sexily wrong as One Week to Score, that little bit of right can probably wait through a few sizzling bouts in the sack.

TAKING THE SCORE, the next entry in the Tall, Dark, and Texan series from Entangled Brazen will be out in February 2016. This sexy tale features an uptight, specs-wearing, nerdy Texan billionaire with a dominant streak and the frumpy, thrift suit-wearing personal assistant he can't stop fantasizing about. And that's before he finds out about her second "job" ... at the strip club! The things a gal's gotta do to make rent.
In the meantime, you can catch up with the first book in the series, EVEN THE SCORE, a hate-lust-love story between a trailer trash Texan tycoon and a down-on-her-luck actress....more

Like Sonali's first book, A Bollywood Affair, this one is a tour de force of language and characterization. Her descriptions are so amazing, pulling the reader in so deep you are experiencing every moment with these characters. Within the first 10 pages, I was tearing up, my heart swelling for Ria. Vikram was perfect, his journey from bitterness to forgiveness wonderfully done (though I would have loved to be in his head for a few scenes). Bride is darker than Affair, but it shows Sonali at the height of her talents. Read this book now!...more
SPARKING THE FIRE, Book 3 in the Hot in Chicago series, is Wyatt's story. Wyatt Fox is the eldest, mysterious, low-key, prone-to-squinting Dempsey. He's a calming force, not one for letting his temper get the better of him (like, uh, ALL the other Dempseys), and he has a secret. Strange overnighters away from Chicago which he's very close-lipped about. More hints are given in Alex's story, PLAYING WITH FIRE, but you won't find out what's up with Wyatt until September 2016. His heroine will be an awesome combo of strong and vulnerable, and will bring out Wyatt's protective instincts, cultivated by years in the Marines. I can't wait to share them with you!...more

Secrets and lies place Annie and Dylan at odds, but the sexual pull between the pair keeps them bound to each other. This has a lot more plot going on than the first part, but Molly does an amazing job of moving it forward while deepening the romance. In a way, this episode is more about Dylan than Annie, but both have to step up to ensure their HEA. I can't heap enough praise on this dark, ambitious, sexy tale. Loved every minute of it....more

She's a down-on-her-luck Chicago actress slumming it in dinner theater. He's an on-the-rise Texan tycoon who climbed out of the dirt and found a beautiful socialite to marry . . . only to have the actress stick her nose in and tell the bride "Run!"
On his wedding day.
A year later, they need each other but the past is never forgotten.
EVEN THE SCORE is the first book in my new Tall, Dark, and Texan series from Entangled's Brazen line, where romance begins in the bedroom... or on the sofa, the private jet, the hood of a pick-up. Whatever works! Because you know what they say: revenge is a meal best served sexy....more

From the first page, I was sucked into Annie's world, her pain, her desires, her need to carve out a place for herself. The setting and the conflict reminded me a little of Lisa Kleypas's Travis series (Sugar Daddy and Blue Eyed Devil), but darker, kinkier, and more edge-of-my-seat suspenseful. This is the first part of a duology, and it ends on a cliffhanger, so I'm praying I can get my hands on #2 (the final part) as soon as possible. Loved every amazing word!

PLAYING WITH FIRE is Book 2 in the Hot in Chicago series and features a hard-headed mayor and an awesome female firefighter.
