Lillian takes the victim, who they call Hallie, with her as a companion on a Caribbean cruise.
Eric is an Interpol agent hunting for an international jewelry theft ring. He's undercover as the ship's doctor on the Caribbean cruise ship. Sparks fly when Hallie and Eric meet. Eric’s wonders if Hallie might be the thief stealing from the passengers. Hallie’s amnesia and Lillian’s Alzheimer's make a good cover. What’s the chance of two people traveling together having amnesia and Alzheimer’s? Lillian keeps coming up with pieces of jewelry passengers have dropped or lost.
To complicate everything, someone is trying to kill Hallie and she has no idea why. Lillian meets an older cowboy, who she's interested in, and then there's the sleazy man who keeps hitting on Hallie. As the cruise progresses, Hallie gradually starts to regain her memory. Eric decides she's not a thief, but has to find the real one and keep Hallie safe while their romance heats up.
A Cruise To Remember has it all: a sexy hero, a sympathetic heroine, and an exotic setting. I enjoyed reading the interaction between Eric and Hallie/Holly. I love a book where the heroine regains her memory bit by bit. It was interesting to watch her personality emerge as her amnesia faded. Ms. Bateman wrote a truly despicable villain that kept me wanting the hero to toss the jerk overboard. I would recommend this book to lovers of romantic suspense set in exotic locations. ...more

I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Ms. Rhondeau weaves romantic suspense with just the right balance of deep emotions and fast-paced action.
She drew me in with the plot of Love & Deception with an action scene and kept me reading as I became more and more emotionally involved with the main characters, Nick and Carlie. A few times, I found myself conversing with the hero, asking him why he doesn’t just tell the heroine the truth. Ah, but Ms. Rhondeau reveals the truth to the heroine at just the right moment...or rather she allows the heroine to come to the right conclusions when it’s most meaningful to the plot.
All in all, an enjoyable read. This would be a great read on a rainy day with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, because the love scenes are definitely hot. Highly recommend this book to lovers of romantic suspense. ...more

Trying to prove she's a legitimate writer who cares about Petersburg's issues, Liv pens a series of newspaper articles about an old, unsolved murder. But he gave up on love two years ago, and she trusts no one, especially with her carefully guarded secret. If they mesh their skills to find the killers, will they survive the fallout?
Lie Catchers drew me in from the first chapter and kept my attention throughout the book. Set in an Alaskan fishing town, the book immerses the reader into a culture handed down through generations of Norwegians who had settled the area and made their living fishing for salmon. The author carefully weaves the mystery of two murders together and somehow connects the two in the minds of both the characters and the reader, so that the solving of an old mystery helps resolve a contemporary murder. The result is a very enjoyable read. I would recommend Lie Catchers to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense. ...more

Two worlds collide through a marvelous, magical mirror. Modern day Rowena peers through the glass into Caedman’s ancient world of warriors, kings and kingdoms, rivalries and wars, castles and keeps, curses and legends, and he gazes just as easily back through the glass into her modern world. Caedman needs Rowena’s golden key to keep his father’s kingdom from destruction. To gain the key, he has to win Rowena’s heart. In doing so, he loses his to her. Ah, I believe he won mine as well. Ms. Nuest impressed me with her command of narrative and dialogue, switching easily between Rowena’s modern verbiage and Caedman’s ancient, flowery language. His romantic words made me want to swoon.
One moment the author tickles the reader with clever humor, the next she plunges the reader into dark despair right along with the heroic couple. Rowena’s Key is a smart, sexy, magical tale. I will definitely be reading the remaining books in this series. ...more

Connect the Dots:Paper Wishes follows Jack and Jill on their journey from friendship to love over Christmas and New Years in two heartwarming stories.
Connect the Dots: Jill writes her most intimate Christmas wish to God—and throws it away for its ridiculousness—but Christmas wishes have a way of coming true, even when you don’t know what you’ve wished for.
A Test of Faith: One day after her Christmas wish comes true, Jill faces a wrenching choice that tests her deepest beliefs. Will love prevail over conviction, or is happiness nothing more than a fairytale?
Paper Wishes is set during the holiday season, but it is a story that could be told any time of year in any setting. Ms. Eaton breathes fresh life into the tried and true best-friends-turned-lovers trope. Even though I knew how the book would end, because all good romance ends with a happily ever after, or at least a happy for now, Paper Wishes kept me wishing. My heart longed for Jack and Jill to wade through the miscommunication and the misunderstandings. I wanted this couple to get past their hang-ups and find their future together. This was such a sweet romance, smoothly written and easily read, that I sighed with contentment when I reached the end. I sat back, smiled, and thought to myself, “Well done, Ms. Eaton.” It was so refreshing to read a story about selfless love. I would highly recommend Paper Wishes to anyone that loves a sweet romance and remembers a time when true romance was about the ah-ha moment when a couple first realizes they love each other....more

The book offers the reader a pleasing combination of mystery and romance, and as a woman with a Scottish ancestry I loved the setting because I’ve always wanted to visit the Isle of Skye. The references to Celtic history were fascinating and made me want to know more. I found the clash between the two archeological worlds intriguing.
The book has plenty of twists to keep the reader guessing and left just enough of the plot line dangling to make me want to read the next book just to find out what happens to Alec and Katie. I found enough typos and missing words that the editing issues were distracting, and it seems at times the pacing was off and the dialog was forced to accommodate the plot details.
Overall, I enjoyed Trove and would recommend it for a nice weekend read with a good cup of coffee or two. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. ...more
