In relation to the film Elena Undone, the book (as they often are) is a more detailed version of the story between Elena and Peyton. You'll see a little more background particularly between Peyton and her relationship with Margaret prior to meeting Elena, and a little more background on other characters as well. Most importantly the sheer heat of passion between Elena and Peyton is more intensely portrayed throughout the text of the book. In the book, Peyton once mentioned all the things that make a woman "so delicious". I think in parallel to that, this book is an enticing narrative of all the things that make falling in love with a woman so very delicious...
Cutest thing about the film based on this book is that it's actually a film "loosely" based on the lovestory between the Director and Producer themselves, who (if I'm not mistaken) came up with the idea of "Soulmetry" themselves upon writing this film. How interesting is that? :) Also! Another interesting fact is that THIS film holds the current record for the longest kiss in a movie...ever! not just lesbian films. This kiss is a tantalizing record of 3minutes and 6seconds. ...Which i think is very fitting, being that kisses appear to have the effect of potent intoxicants when exchanged between women.
"Thank god she is not a controlled substance."-Peyton, in reference to Elena in Elena Undone(less)

I am currently in the process of reading this book...i am finding every aspect of it completely eye opening. i am not yet half way finished with this book, but i know already that i will be referring back to the many chapters of this book that have awakened this new insight in me...for as long as i shall call myself a woman.(less)
