I just....I mean I...it's just so...gosh..my sweet good damn Jesus. This was exquisitely wonderful. A tear jerker maybe for some of you chumps :) I kid, but what a twisting and refreshing emotional roller coaster that was. I mean I am just flabbergasted in the best way possible! I am in awe with this series and completely consumed with the characters. And thank God for that since most of the time when it comes to lead female characters, in some situations I want to breath life into them only to beat it out of them, but Eva, no no no, I didn't even think of it.
Then theres Gideon Cross...shoot ladies I am fanning myself and smiling quite deliriously for how much I am in love with this fictional character. Like I said, a freaken roller coaster, and probably the craziest freaken life altering roller coaster you'd ever get on, but never the less you'd hold on tight with all your might for the rest of your life cause that ride is just to sweet to let go, am I right ;)and not only talking about the panty creaming sex either. The whole package is fanfuckingtastic! teehee
Now don't get me wrong, this book and these characters will drive you up the wall and make you three shades of pissed off at some point in the book, BUT do not be deceived. That is the point. They are fucked up in every sense of those two words but without me saying to much for those who haven't read this book I will put it simply. They grow. Both separately and together as a couple, needing to piss us off and annoy the fuck out us for that specific reason, which to me ultimately is what makes me love this book so much. Its real.
WHOOT WHOOT, give it up for Syliva Day cause this series is gonna be a hard one to let go, let alone move on from. Shoot, I'm craving for the third book but when I finish I'll be craving for the days when I still had the feeling of anticipation of waiting for the next book to come out. Oh *Sigh* bittersweet such things in life are. But I have a feeling the sweet just might out shine the bitter in this case. Since come on yall, who are we kidding, by the end of this beautiful story, we all will be very satisfied!
Has my seal of approval forever and ever! In fact I'll be coming back to this series in a few weeks to reread, you can count on that.
Mannnn I love these guys! Now I know your thinking, "eh, they are just fictional characters," but I say eff that and who gives a hoot :D This was a beMannnn I love these guys! Now I know your thinking, "eh, they are just fictional characters," but I say eff that and who gives a hoot :D This was a beautifully consturcted book. I mean RYAN FRIGGEN CHRISTENSEN and the lovely miss Taryn Mitchell, ahem, I mean Mrs. FRIGGEN CHRISTENSEN! I want to drag them outa the books so I can bask in they're love. It's real special and I am sooooooo happy with how everything ended. Shoot throughout the whole book I was sitting on the edge of my seat and grinding my teeth waiting for the next whatever to blow up into they're lives. But boy was I happy with they're relationship. ;)
This book was fanstastic! I plan to come back in a month to reread it and for me that is saying something cuz there are only a hand full of books that I can do that with and not go bored outa my mind with knowing what'll happen next. But this book....no this book is a prize!
Love Unrehearsed...I really hope this wont be the last book but...you'll see what I mean when you finish, but just know, Mr. and Mrs. Christensen, that I will cherish greatly reading about your lives.
Yep and there you go folks, the crazy chic talking to the fictional characters but again, who gives a hoot :D
My seal of apporval is written all up in this book, so please everyone..
Who am I kinding, you wont be able to help yourself so just hop to it!;)...more
Ahhhhhh! How satisfying...out of the series this may be my favorite. Eh, strike that, after the first book, Empty net is my favorite. The reason why iAhhhhhh! How satisfying...out of the series this may be my favorite. Eh, strike that, after the first book, Empty net is my favorite. The reason why is simply cause Audrey was suprisingly the least one out of the three main characters through out the series who I wanted to give a swift kick so far up thery'r ass that they'd feel it coming out of they're throats. But bare with me, here me out a sec.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE, this series. It is what turned me on to my love of hockey for one, but also for the fact that there are constent mouth watering hotties that grace these pages and i just can't get enough of em. :D
Alright on a more serious note, I very much enjoyed Empty net, gosh, like my previous statement Audrey was yes stupid and weak for doing some of the stuff she did but i still respect her for how she went about everything. Making my way to the last pages of the book I was so bracing myself for you know that moment! You know the one that you see in so many romance books, even the first two books of this series has them. The moment when everything is bad timing and wrong place and the wrong time. You know like when Elli saw Shae with her sister or Fallon seeing Audrey with scum of the earth Levi and then blaming Luke. The moment when you know that shit just went down and its all heartbreaking and yelling and takes some time for everything to get back to lovey dovey land. Well THANK GOD that wasn't in this book! MAN I was so happy to finish this book and be compeltely sane from the fact that I didn't want to clock an imaginary character in the face. But everyhting worked out. Anywho I'm rambling.
Once again Toni Aleo blows me away and I finished this book in 9 hours, so I was stuck to it 24/7. To everyone reading this that means once you pick this book up I sure hope your sitting in a comfy couch, chair, or wherever since your butt will be planted for the remander of the book! ;)
Has my seal of approval 100% LOVE TONI ALEO!!! AMAZNIG WRITING!
P.S. Miss spelled words are probably within this review. I don't reread and I usually type with out going back to fix mistakes, lol
Wow.....just fucking WOW! I aspire to one day have the dirty, smartass/sarcastic mind of Claire some day! Even Carter as well, and also Drew then LizWow.....just fucking WOW! I aspire to one day have the dirty, smartass/sarcastic mind of Claire some day! Even Carter as well, and also Drew then Liz Oh and of course Jim! I mean Yeeshus you hand readers these amazingly wonderful characters and then have the nerve to end the book! The things people do these days!
Now we can talk about that sweet little demon spawn, Gavin! My oh my and sweet ever loven baby Jesus, he is a fine precious little thing that I just want to pull out of the book into real life and birth him myself! Pure genius is what that kid Gavin is. Simple as that.
This book is such a master piece that it's ripping me to shredds to part with it. I wish there was a second book, Oh and also a third, forth, and fifth and so on and so forth. i just want to continue to read about these charaters lives. The ups and downs and the growth. I mean it really sucks that this isn't a series, but no worries, I'll just come back in a week or so and read it again. Then two weeks after that, I'll take another wack at it...etc. ;)
All in all, like I end with most of my reviews, this book is THE SHIT and it has my seal of approval so much that I'm surprised its not the book cover! Love, love, love Tara Sivec and her wickedly hilarious humor :D
Nough said, it'll piss you off, granted (any person who struggles to have faith in themselves will do that (only for the fact thatFUCKING LOVED THIS!
Nough said, it'll piss you off, granted (any person who struggles to have faith in themselves will do that (only for the fact that they hurt the ones they love unknowingly (even when they are warned though...which is the me getting pissed part), but it is well worth it. Believe me :D
Toni Aleo is a MASTER with her characters and I fell in love with a certain hunky hockey player! Shoot that hunky hockey player alone turned me onto hockey in Real LIFE! Now I'm a proud AVALANCHE FANGIRL, but that's besides the point.
You will not be dissapointed with this read. Everything is in there for all your viewing and imaginative pleasure.

Instead Taylor, main character, made me laugh out loud, where as most female lead characters annoy and piss me off to no end when they are in denial moad or are to stubborn or prided or whatever to open there eyes. But nope, I was very happy with the fact that Taylor has a good head on her shoulders. She isn't a coward and that most of all is what impressed me about this book :D
Then there is Jason......HOT DAMN! In the beginning I was thinking, "Oh no he did not!" But as the story moves along he kinda of just sucks you in. No way of stopping it so I suggest to not even try.
All in all this was a very fun and happy read. Made me laugh loads and I was satisfied with how everything ended. I wish there was a second book, I really just love these characters and wanna read about them more and more. My seal of approval is written all up and down and sideways for this book! You will be happy to pick up this book, Guaranteed, or your money back...I kid I kid...about the money back thing that is....at least not from me! :)
