Ally has lived at the Moon Shadow most of her life and loves it there. She one day dreams of discovering a comet. Bree is the popular girl who would NEVER live at a dirty old campground, but that's just what she has to do. She will do ANYTHING to stay away. Jack has never been really popular he's chubby and failed science class. The only reason he's at the Moon Shadow is because it was that or summer school. These 3 unlikely friends including some siblings and Ally's childhood friend must work together to help jack's teacher, and get ready for the Solar Eclipse.
I really enjoyed this book. I give it a five star rating. I really liked how much astronomy Wendy Mass put into the book. it is also a friendship read, if you like those books where the unlikely friends become friends, you'll like this book. It is more of a girl read but a boy could definitely read it. I would recommend Every Soul a Star to grades advanced 5th through 8th grade. It is definitely a book that at times you have to think about but it was fantastic! I hope you'll read it because you'll most likely LOVE IT! (less)

She is still trying to get over the break up with Leo and learns that something special or hard in her life can really make a difference. With her planning a winter solstice celebration and mentoring an eleven-year old girl Stargirl always cares and is her funky self. The most important thing I learned was to be careful who you trust. In the book they are unsure who to trust and find some impostors who were supposedly their friends. it is important to be sure who to trust or you could end up getting hurt. Being careful who to trust is very important. efinently recommend it I would recommend this book to Middle School to High school kids. i would recommend it to those kids who like realistic fiction with a twist of drama. Also I recommend this book to those who have read the first Stargirl. I recommend this book to these groups because younger groups would not get it as well and Stargirl is High School aged. I would definitely recommend this book if you fit the description.
