Picture a love story like beautiful disaster but with more paranormal circumstances This books will defiantly get a new tag for me the " had to stay up half the night to finish it" tag This book, was full of awesomeness, it was really like no other book I've read in a very long, long, loooong time! I loved everything about these characters, loved the banter between jack and evie even loved the dreaded dare I say it? Yup love triangle, oh and there is a tantalizing twist right at the end! You will be holding your breath at every turn of the page or flick of the wrist. I crave these types of stories, I search high and low for them and when I find them I can not put them down, my life is consumed with getting to explore these character their surrounding, their fears everything! I can not wait for book 2, jack ohh jack how i will dream about you tonight and your ever sexy southern accent
Would also like to point out that these characters are very likable and relatable, I'm used to the whole "wrong side of the tracks" story but this had a very different take on it and the author brought more flare and twists to the story! but this is also fresh, new and I love this book, I so hope this is a long drawn out series, because I could honestly spend the rest of my days reading about jack lol (less)

Lets face it, even though what might have caught our eye was the who angels aspect of it, but really this was just a flat out love triangle, and I ate it up and asked for seconds! I'm happy I found this book late, I hate waiting around for the newer books to come out, so I have a lot of catching up to do. This was actually one of the first books I find I don't know which guy to like. usually I go for the bad boy/underdog of the story who I know doesn't have a chance in hell (no pun) of winning the girl, which leads me to hate the book in the end. But with this book I'm having a hard time figuring out which one is the underdog. I think I'm more for team Lincoln at this point, but that could very well change. I do feel bad for Phoenix though he really did ask for it in the end didn't he? well I dunno yet what will happen but I prey that the author won't kill off someone just so the other can have a somewhat happy ending. I still cry sometimes thinking about Ren but that's a whole other story lol (less)

But there is nothing more disappointing then a squeal that just doesn't live up to its predecessor. This book fell flat for me on so many leaves, I liked the action and the plot, but the leading lady (Kate) made me want to gag! There is nothing more disappointing than a heroin who begs for a mans attention and affection. this reminded me of twilight, where Bella was left in the woods feeling utterly hopeless and couldn't live without her dear old Edwards *double gag*! I could barely stand to read this book, so many times I wanted to throw my Sony across the room, every damn page was Kate begging, yes begging for Henry to love her! The whole point of this book shouldn't have been her living in her sisters shadow but its seems that was the only plot and I that is why I couldn't fully enjoy this book. Also there was no romance or chemistry between Kate and Henry. The couple of scenes they had weren't what I'd call heartfelt or warm, they left me hoping Kate would end up with James. However things finally turned from bad to good with the last couple of chapters, but even than I still didn't get a sense of happy from the couple. It did leave off with a nice cliffhanger mind you, and I am all for a good cliffhanger but am hoping book 3 there will be more love, romance or at least some kind of emotion from Kate and Henry! I was really hoping to love this book but I really it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. here's hoping book 3 won't disappoint me and I'll be sure to keep an open mind and not expect too much :D(less)

There is a lot to this story and can't wait to read the 2nd book! I'm not really into preteen books, usually I tend to stay closer to 17-18 year old characters, however with that said I found this book very likable because they grow in this book. This isn't a cut and to the point book, these characters start at a point and have history together. No love at first sight or kiss, which I found to be a nice change! Savannah and Tristan are you're main characters and I found their story believable! They start off as childhood friends and then one day they are split up by their parents. 15 years old Savannah becomes ill, and starts changing. Getting used to her new body and abilities she grows fonder and fonder of her old childhood friend but knows they can never be together, or can they?
I love how this book will switch between the two characters, and how they mature and grow. I'm not really fond of the cover but I won't let that stop me from enjoying their story :D (less)

This book is great for 20somethings out there, I did find the character to be much wiser than 22, I felt she was more 24-25ish, but that's just me. I really really enjoyed this series and hope my mom will leaned me her visa to get the rest of the books lol I found this books to be easy reads, not very long and thank god to the point books. I found the author wasn't playing out the scene to death, which was so nice, nothing irritates me more than knowing each and every detail to the rug in some room, those scene make me cringe and want to throw my beloved e-reader across the room. Also loved how it was very really, so much so I was cringing at some scenes, the finer details most books leave out. Also LOVED that Dex wasn't some beefed up drop dead gorgeous playboy millionaire but and actual real person! and if your like me and have a hubby who loves when movember rolls around you know what Dex pretty much looks like, which is pretty much my husband ;)I am addict to this series and have been bed redden for a week now with bronchitis so its nice to snuggled up to these spooktacular books. and yes I will admit I was freaking out in some parts, I read at night with the lights off so ya some parts freaked me out! (spoilers) I'm saddened to no end everyday thinking about this book, I feel this ending was a cheap shot, low blow! I feel like Andrea had a picture in her mind and that picture was the end, where the family of wolfs played in the snow and such, and she had to figure out how to translate that into words and on paper and how to get Ren outta the picture so that shay and calla could have their happy ending. I'm sorry I was so taken back by this...I cried so hard and I understand as a good writer you have to move your audience and make them feel and believe these things, but for some odd reason I thought maybe just maybe a miracle would happen and I stopped my tears and continued turning the pages, and then it dawned on me as i read the last chapters that no, you didn't let Ren live and stay with his sister and start a new life or try to find his own pack...I feel cheated, I loved this character to death and i feel he got no real mourning! I just feel like you gave up so Shay could stay. I wanted Ren to live even if he didn't get the girl, but I feel he should have gotten her, I really really do, but its not my story, its yours and I'm still grateful for the roller coaster of a ride you took me on, I'm just sad to no end that Ren won't live on in my dreams, to know the he was snuffed out...I'm sad :'(
now that i'm done ranting, let me start raving about this book, this book is what Twilight needed! death! War! Courage! Not only did the author come through for all of us readers she came through to her Characters! I have yet to find a good book that kills off so many characters, the shock value is here in this book and yes I was sad by some of the characters to get knocked off the list I was also grateful! not ever story is going to have a "happily ever after" attached to it! (oh but i wish in this case it would lol) so on that note, i'm going to upgrade my 2 * to a 4 * because making this review is also therapeutic in some ways and its helping me understand the author :D(less)

(but seriously, every time Sam is mentioned I curl up and do the ugly cry)
so much emotions running through me right now, could be from lack of sleep, or just the fact that this character has lost so much and still has to face each and everyday all alone, its very depressing actually, but there is a small glimmer of hope, and his name is Luke.
wow, so this book was extremely hard for me to read, I have no idea why I was emotionally torn but ya this book had me bawling like a new born, I have never ever been this sensitive to a book before. Then end was only so so for me, SPOILER now if she actually would have died that for some reason in my twisted brain felt that i could have accepted it. ya, i'm crazy but it would have been one of those bitter sweet endings. I liked how it ended but with so much drama to an already dramatic book I just thought if she would have died it would have been the finally kick that would have sent me over the edge. (less)

Maybe I should have re-read the 3rd book, but for some odd reason I had no connection to these characters at all. I wish I would have loved this book more than I did, still a good read. Nice ending, I feel all points were met and nothing left out. (less)

I can't express how annoyed I am with the strike out! I first thought there was something wrong with my ereader! The storyline would be ok if it wasn't written so annoying! Is it weird that I like Warner? I prefer him to Adam, who's supposed to be the hero. I've noticed in most of the reviews people are complaining about the cover, I don't really have a big problem with it, sorta of boring to be honest, but I was expecting more of a harsh cover for such a harsh book. this isn't a pretty book, very visual when it comes to torture.
update: even though I disliked the way it was written I for some reason can't get this book out of my head! I came to enjoy the characters once I was finally done the book and the story line was very interesting and unique. I can't wait for the next addition to the series. And in all honestly I can't remember anything about Adam but I dream of Warner even though I know he's the "villain " but to me he feels like another victim. In Destroy Me you get to know his story and the part that I remember clear as day is when he's looking for Juliette and he comes across a stray dog and feed it, really that part plays no big roll in the book but it shows his character, his soul and that he's not as heartless as we all might think he is. I love all things fairytale, which is why I'm obsessed with "once upon a time". I just finished book one and loved the whole twisted Cinderella re-telling and can't wait for book two to come out. I love little red and was pretty excited to see this book will have her in it and Paris! could this book be any more awesome?!?! The downfall, 2013 boo :( (less)

(wait there will be yayay happy pajama dance around coffee table)
The ending took my breath away and I'm still in tears. This review is going to be full of spoilers so you've been warned.
Olivia and Caleb are destined to be together but forces are always throwing them apart. Their timing is never right and too much time and lies have come between them.
I was so shocked at the ending, for these two characters not to end up together, just blew me outta the water, which now I'm drowning in. This is one of those books I'm glad I read but will keep me up all hours of the night, most likely crying.
Real: this book is very real! This is what makes this so hard to accept, because in the real world this is the ending you mostly likely get. The guy stays with is wife, the girl left standing on the side of the road, alone.
I had so hoped when Olivia confessed to Caleb outside his hotel room that he would magically take her into his arms, accept her and ride off into the sunset. But my world shattered when she settled for second best, and I cried the hardest for that last part...what's it like, knowing the man you love is never going to love you back? never going to be his significant other, never going to be the mother of his children? my heart breaks for this fictional character. The what ifs in our lives are what drives us down that road to make those choices. do we turn left? or do we turn right? but the point of this book is that you have to keep going, that there is a bright light to every choice, you just have to find the good in it.
I loved this book, I'm thankful for those who pointed me in this direction thank you Tarryn Fisher for a great read and you owe me a box of Kleenex
I will say the end had me doing a of this
followed by this
but then someone here on goodreads told me, not to fear that there was going to be a book two then i did this!
