Yeah I know I had said I did not want Ember with Ty but I did not want this to happen. I still liked him so very much. I was in shock and did not expect it to turn out that way. I had nightmares :( I'm sorry Ty.... come back come back....... I need to breath a little :( enough drama. seriously WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? Anyways I hope the next book comes out fast. I cannot wait for it any longer. Nathan and Ember are my favorite characters they fit so well and their stories were so interesting. I LOVED Skippy too his part in the book was short but the story of his past and present was perfect I just loved him. For some reason he reminds me so much of another character from the books of VA named Adrian.
I love all the characters and their part in this book, I've only a read a few books where a big group of friends like these make a big huge part so clean and natural in the book without getting in each other's way. I cannot really say what I loved the most of this book I just loved it from start to end. All three books have exceeded my expectations.
Seriously AJ Myers I'm a fan, love your work and you're an amazing writer. I will continue buying your books, can't wait for the next book.(less)

First of all I really recommend this book to everyone. It doesn't matter what genre they're into, Evol is a book you have to check out. Everything in this book was so realistic, I could actually see it all happening right in front of me. Evol was so hard to put down. I had my eyes glued to this book all the way to the end and was always so nervous wanting to know what was going to happen next literally biting my nails. Evol is the kind of book that you will want to read again soon and will keep you thinking about it weeks after you finished reading it.
When I started reading this book I was hooked from the first page. As the author introduced Venna Luke, Lilly and Venna's parents and told us a little bit about every one of them I just knew I was going to love this people. So I can't say who my favorite character was only because I just fell in love with them all.
Venna our heroin was so strong even though she didn't think she was. She wasn't only being chased by this psycho but also by the nightmares she had from going through such a traumatic situation. Honestly I would have been just like her after going through something like that, maybe even worst so I totally understood why she was always panicking and on guard. I never felt she was weak or was I ever annoyed by her actions at any point at all.
Dorian: he was just WOW! I'd like to think that there are other people out there even strangers that would risk their life's for another person as much as he did. He didn't care at all how long he had to be on the run or about leaving everything behind he would even give his life for a half-sister he never even spend any time with. I just loved his relationship with Venna and Lane. He is a true knight in shinning armor.
I was also surprised about Lane's interest and connection towards Venna as soon as he met Venna. It was truly unexpected and I was even more shocked that he too would die for her even though he had seen her only once in his life before she arrived at Dorian's doorstep to ask for help. I just fell in love with his character.
With all that said hoping I didn't say too much, Evol was so believable so realistic to me it felt like watching a movie and the ending was just perfect. It was the perfect way to end a truly amazing book totally worth reading over and over again.(less)

I really didn't know much about the book and really didn't pay much attention to what it was about before reading it. As I was reading safe haven I noticed two totally different things Nicholas did with the story. The first one was Kevin, a very disturbed, twisted character. So far I have not been introduced to a character from Nicholas sparks's books that was as terrible as Kevin. Jo (Katie's neighbor and only friend) was also a different character well at least her relationship and importance in the story gave me the feel of a pretty different character in his books. I don't want to give away anything for those who haven't read the book, so I'll just say this book was screaming thriller, romance and sort of gave me a feel of supernatural.
There was only one thing I wasn't very satisfied with and it was that Alex was either not there yet or knocked out when the action was going on and or when he was needed the most. Maybe like my sister said The author was trying to show us that Katie could handle herself and didn't need a man to fight for her but it would have been nice to have a little man to man combat. Also it was probably because Kevin wasn't completely under control so it wouldn't be a fair fight in his condition at those times. This is the first time that I feel a little confused on how I feel about a story. I liked the plot it was well written, different and strong but like I said there were a few things I wasn't completely ok with.(less)

His obsession for Ember as strong as always. He is killing innocent girls that look just like her and dying their hair red like hers. Ember has to vanish the demon that's inside Jack for good before he hurts anyone else but ember doesn't want to kill her friend Jack in the process. In order for Ember to do that she needs to know who this demon is, why he is so obsessed with her, and how to destroy him with ought hurting her friend Jack. But before she does all that she needs to accept who she is and learn how her powers work. She will discover what Nathan had been hiding from her about their past and the guilt he has for something he believes was his fault. Ember will need to make a few hard decisions that may result in losing Nathan but she is willing to take the risks if it means Nathan will be out of harms way.
While there is a whole lot of action, there is also lots of romance(my favorite). A.J. Myers made an amazing story line, by giving the characters their ups and downs in their relationship made it even more realistic. Nathan and Ember love each other but they do disagree when it comes to making decisions that will put Ember in danger and Nathan does not agree with it. I don't blame him for not agreeing with her, the poor guy had suffered so much and losing the love of his life over and over and over again wasn't something he'd like to go through again. I really didn't want to finish reading Something Wicked because I know I have to wait for the next book to come out and the waiting is a torture specially with that amazing cliffhanger.
If you haven't read this series you really need to check them out, you will love them.(less)

Believe me this has nothing to do with A.J. Myers being my adopted author. This book was perfect from cover to end. There was absolutely nothing in it I didn't like. It was easy to read, easy to fall in love with the story and the characters. The details and descriptions of what was going on in the story made me imagine it all like as if I was right there watching it happen in front of me. With that said A.J. Myers took a vampire story to a whole new level of extraordinary, nothing like I've read about vampires before with a new spice to it. AJ's got a new fan dying to read more and more of this series and more of her work to come.
After a conversation with her parents which did not go so well, getting a speeding ticket and getting Saturday school detention Ember Blaylock was really not in the mood to have to deal with Jack the stalker. Jack has been Embers friend since third grade. After going on two dates all of a sudden Jack thinks he owns her but she wants nothing to do with Jack. Just when she thought her day of hell was over Jack was ready to follow her car after school. With help from Kim and Blake she leaves unseen by jack but as soon as she thinks they got away from him. Ember sees jack's car behind the sports car that is behind. Not paying much attention to the road more distracted with trying to get away from her stalker Ember crashes into the sports car that had gotten right in front of her and had stopped in the middle of the road. It all happens so fast....... From that day on Ember's whole life changes. As if seeing ghosts wasn't enough she will discover a whole new world where witches, vampires, ghosts and demons are very very real.
The drama between Nathan and Ember, the romance between the two, their adventure, the kick ass action, those moments of horror and all the twists made a really amazing story that I am certain will engross everyone into the story completely making the person forget about everything else while reading this book. Do I recommend it? Hell yes, you won't be disappointed. (less)

First I want to say that Ken and little Catherine were my favorite characters. Ken is just so freaking fun and funny. He made me laugh so much at times, specially the way he was described in the book by Eddie. It made me laugh so hard. Catherine is a smart little girl and super friendly. It almost made me cry when she was saying goodbye to Eddie. She was just adorable. One of the funniest part was when Catherine and Donna were having a conversation with Eddie about relationships and them wanting him to meet their gym teacher, that whole conversation was so funny.
So the story starts with Eddie and Janie discussing Eddie's trip to Little Lobster Camp. Janie does not want Eddie to go but it would be Eddie's seventh year as a counselor and he is very excited to go again. When eddie is at the camp he meets Erika (who is not shy at all). Everything is fine for Eddie until he sees King Morrissey. A bully he knew from high school. Eddie was scared of what King would do to him if he would see him because his last encounter with king wasn't pretty and he was afraid king would want to fight him or worst, beat him up. In the end Eddie learns what matters most. He will learn to value what he has and that the one bad decision he was going to make would break one of the best things he had in his life. Funniest thing is that he learns this from the person he would least expect would help him open his eyes. He will learn that winning a contest is not as important as being appreciated and having a good impact in a kid's life. This was a fun short book that anyone will enjoy, remind one to value what one has and reflect on the things we want to do before we do them. (less)

So when Nancy offered to give me a free copy I couldn't wait to read it. "Blood Debt" was the very first book I had read by Nancy. As soon as I had started reading it I did not put it down. It didn't take me long to finish reading it with the little free time I had I managed to finish it pretty fast and loved the story line and I just knew I would love Centaur Legacy even more.
In this second book of the Touched Series we learn a lot more about Camille's grandmother, her father, and Phineas the man who had saved Camille from her grandmother in the first book. What I liked the most about this series is that Nancy didn't just tell the story from Camille's prospective but she neatly gave most of the characters their own chapters. She let us get to know the most important characters. What they were feeling, doing, and thinking. All of the story was put together very very wonderfully which is exactly the reason why I enjoyed both books so much.
My two favorite characters in this second book were Beau and Drake. Beau is more like Camille. They both didn't like the idea about just choosing any available centaur to marry just to keep the bloodlines, and both didn't like the idea of buying a wife/husband. His story in this second book was perfect, it fit great with the story line to make the book even better. Why is Drake my 2nd favorite character? Well that is so easy to answer. Don't need to say much. You'll know why when you read "Blood Debt" and "Centaur Legacy." He's just so totally perfect.
Can't wait to read the next book as soon as it comes out. I give it 5 stars.(less)

But in the start of book 2 After being attacked by a beast and put in a coma for almost 3 years Lauren wakes up not quite as brave and sure about everything like before. She is afraid of being alone, afraid of the dark and extremely afraid of the thought of ever having to see Samuel again. Now she has to find that courage and her strength once more so she can destroy the beast and get her life back.
I loved Destiny's Revenge. I loved the new twists, and even though I didn't like it very much that Max wasn't there by Lauren's side when she came out of the coma it was a very good way to keep the reader reading and of course it made the story more exciting as well as interesting. With that said this book deserves 5 stars. (less)

It all started that night when she felt something wasn't right as soon as she saw a suspicious man that alerted every danger alarm in her body. Somehow Lauren knew that if she didn't do anything something bad was going to happen. She knows she needs to take her friend Melissa out of harms way and she does. She tries to deal with the guy but things get out of hand. Lauren hadn't noticed what happened until her supervisor called the ambulance. It all happened so quickly. The paramedics arrived and that is when she looks into those eyes that have been in her dreams for four years. She meets her destiny, the guy who has been in her dreams for so long. Her whole life changes after that. In many good ways but also she will be face to face with evil. Lauren has to fight for her love, for her loved ones lives and for her own life. An evil being that wanted to end her life as soon as it discovered her gifts wants to kill her has been following her, watching her. He felt that she could be a threat. Lauren does not know she is in danger but soon she will. That evil has captured her so now she needs to fight. She needs to take control of her life and get her life back to the path that she was meant to follow.
It was so unfair, Lauren got a really hard life. She cant even spend a little time in peace with Max. Just when it seems everything will be ok something happens. I was so mad and sad for Paul. poor guy I really liked him. That whole chapter was killing me : (
What first caught my attention when I saw this book on Nancy's page was the title, then I read a few comments from her followers and I also couldn't resist that cover. The color of the cover is just so lovely I just had to read this book. I also knew it would be a great read and I was not wrong. It was an easy to read story, I felt I flew through the pages it had very clean originally unique plots that fell nicely with the story to make it even better. Nancy is very good at keeping me on the edge of my seat. I was going crazy when I wasn't even half way through the book lol. Truth is after I had finished reading this book I couldn't sleep I wanted to start reading "Destiny's Revenge" right away but I couldn't download it so I just downloaded the sample and read those first 30 pages then when I was done with it I couldn't sleep thinking about it. Thank goodness I was able to download it so I can keep reading to see what happens. I really am loving this story so far too just like I had enjoyed "Blood Debt" I really hope I won't have to suffer much with this second book but by the title of it I think there will be suffering. Asha still wont let anyone in she keeps to herself but no matter how much she tries to keep Luke away he will not give up because from the moment he saw her he wanted to make her happy. From the moment he saw her he never wanted to loose her.
I always enjoy a book that can really come to life. "I love you to death" did that. The characters were real, the plot perfect, nice flowing words and fantastic description of what was happening. The playlist was an AMAZING touch too. All the songs were perfect for all the chapters and of course they are all my favorite songs. It is funny cause all but 5 songs are in my iPod playlist. They just fall perfect perfect for every chapter. Really made me get the chills.
What I loved the most about this book and all the books I read is when they can make my soul fly out of my body, dance, float around and jump with happiness. The feeling that this books give me is amazing. I cannot explain at all as much as I try. But i'm sure everyone feels them too when they bump into the pages of a great book. Including the goosebumps when those certain parts come to life. Those goose bumps are one serious deal that I can only feel with reading AWESOME stories like this. A million of applause for Natalie Ward. I have to admit that for a moment I wanted to just stop reading this book, my view was so so blurry sometimes. My eyes hurt, my head, and even my brain hurt. I couldn't make that knot in my throat go away. I have read quite a few books that make me cry in some parts but this book either made me cry of happiness or sadness but it always managed to squeeze a gazillion tears out of me. Already had expected the worst but loved the ending. "I Love you to Death" did not disappoint me. I was once again a happy reader and once again cried of happiness. A must must read and a must must re-read really recommend it. You will love this book. Just have a clenex box close by, you will need it. (less)
